I mean "wrong" changeset message.

Sorry, wrote changeset message. This was just adding a single EV charging station, based on a survey.

Thanks for contributing to OpenStreetMap! Welcome!

If this is a three-story building, you could also add building:levels=3.

Hi George, welcome to OpenStreetMap.

I can't tell what you were trying to accomplish, since you didn't leave a very informative changeset message. It looks like you created an untagged line, so I went ahead and deleted that for you.

Welcome to OpenStreetMap! Thanks for adding this detail. Looks like we are also missing the `amenity=bank` tag which would help this show up as a bank on the map. I'll add that.

Hello Dani, welcome to OpenStreetMap!

Thanks for adding that hotel node. I see that the hotel already exists as a building in OSM, but the building is missing the `amenity=hotel` tag, so that's probably why it didn't show up on MAPS.ME. I will combine your node with the existing building.

Thanks again!

Looks good! When buildings physically abut each other, they can share nodes along that shared wall, if necessary. In this case, it looks like you mapped it correctly with a small gap between the buildings (as visible on satellite). But I suspect some of the buildings on the Fox lot will have walls that are flush against each other. We'll see.

Hi there, welcome to OpenStreetMap! Thanks for contributing!

Can I ask about the place_of_worship you just added? denomination=sunni and religion=buddhist aren't two things that usually go together. Is one of those an error?

Hi there, thank you for contributing to OpenStreetMap! As far as I can tell, "Ontario and 59th Park" is not an official park according to the City of Vancouver: http://vancouver.ca/parks-recreation-culture/parks-gardens-and-beaches.aspx

Are you sure that this isn't just part of the school grounds which are already mapped? Can you provide any documentation (like a photo of a sign, maybe) to prove that this exists as a separate park?

Hi there! Thanks for contributing to OpenStreetMap. One thing to watch out for: when you make a lot of edits one after the other, make sure you update the changeset comment to correctly reflect what you're adding in each edit. For example, this isn't "Sea-mountain Insurance". Otherwise, keep up the good work!

Hi there! Welcome to OSM.

You've got it right by adding building=house to this polygon. But landuse=residential should be used for larger areas, not buildings. This house is already surrounded by a landuse=residential polygon, for example: osm.org/way/545333507

For now I'm just going to delete that park, and we can re-create it once we have some confirmation on the ground.

Hi there, welcome to OpenStreetMap! Looking at the satellite imagery, I don't see a park there. It looks like the park that you drew covers up several existing buildings. Is this a mistake?

Sounds awesome! Enjoy!

Cool. Are you placing these points based on your own survey, or are you importing the coordinates from NOAA? I just wonder, because those two benchmarks you placed don't quite align with the existing peaks in OSM.
