56397371 | over 7 years ago | Hi there, welcome to OpenStreetMap! Thanks for contributing! Can I ask about the place_of_worship you just added? denomination=sunni and religion=buddhist aren't two things that usually go together. Is one of those an error? |
55914870 | over 7 years ago | Hi there, thank you for contributing to OpenStreetMap! As far as I can tell, "Ontario and 59th Park" is not an official park according to the City of Vancouver: http://vancouver.ca/parks-recreation-culture/parks-gardens-and-beaches.aspx Are you sure that this isn't just part of the school grounds which are already mapped? Can you provide any documentation (like a photo of a sign, maybe) to prove that this exists as a separate park? |
55911140 | over 7 years ago | Hi there! Thanks for contributing to OpenStreetMap. One thing to watch out for: when you make a lot of edits one after the other, make sure you update the changeset comment to correctly reflect what you're adding in each edit. For example, this isn't "Sea-mountain Insurance". Otherwise, keep up the good work! |

One thing to watch out for: when you make a lot of edits one after the other, make sure you update the changeset comment to correctly reflect what you're adding in each edit. 55508275 | over 7 years ago | Hi there! Welcome to OSM. You've got it right by adding building=house to this polygon. But landuse=residential should be used for larger areas, not buildings. This house is already surrounded by a landuse=residential polygon, for example: osm.org/way/545333507 |
55320370 | over 7 years ago | Welcome to OpenStreetMap! Thanks for contributing! |
55201128 | over 7 years ago | For now I'm just going to delete that park, and we can re-create it once we have some confirmation on the ground. |
55201128 | over 7 years ago | Hi there, welcome to OpenStreetMap! Looking at the satellite imagery, I don't see a park there. It looks like the park that you drew covers up several existing buildings. Is this a mistake? |
55170173 | over 7 years ago | Sounds awesome! Enjoy! |
55170173 | over 7 years ago | Cool. Are you placing these points based on your own survey, or are you importing the coordinates from NOAA? I just wonder, because those two benchmarks you placed don't quite align with the existing peaks in OSM. |
55155576 | over 7 years ago | Please do not delete the building. |
55152050 | over 7 years ago | Please do not delete the building. |
55153276 | over 7 years ago | Please do not delete the building. |
55155200 | over 7 years ago | Please do not delete this building? If you are a new mapper, please ask for help. But I assume you are connected to all of the other recent hotel edits that resulted in deleted buildings. |
55139436 | over 7 years ago | Hello, welcome to OpenStreetMap! It looks like you accidentally created a new node while updating the old one, resulting in duplicate nodes. I'm going to delete the new node and make sure the old one contains all the relevant information. |
55093942 | over 7 years ago | Hello there, please don't delete the existing building. If you are the same user who is editing a bunch of other hotels in the last few hours, please stop for a moment and ask for advice. |
55093088 | over 7 years ago | user_5359, this is the first edit by a new user. Their changeset message is "update listing", and their username is "qualityinnblythe", so I don't think they were trying to delete the building on purpose. The probably just don't know how OSM works yet. Please assume good intentions before throwing around the word "vandalism". |
54850286 | over 7 years ago | Thanks for adding the Dangermond Preserve! I changed the tagging to something that seems more appropriate according to wiki.osm.org. Great work adding the boundary! |
49254972 | over 7 years ago | Are we sure that Cole Harbour should be tagged as natural=bare_rock instead of natural=water, as it was before this changeset? bare_rock seems very wrong here. |
52281816 | almost 8 years ago | Hello! Thank you for editing OpenStreetMap! You created a lot of features that have area=yes, which does not give us much information. I think these should all be building=yes instead. |
