Mgehling there is newer tagging for the toilet station: see osm.wiki/Toilet_Holding_Tank_Disposal (and also in German).

Is this a self service bicycle tool stand? osm.org/node/3379605184/history

Are the features you tagged "Outhouse" always pit or vault toilets (toilets:disposal=pit)?

Is osm.org/node/977983692 a point where I can fill my caravan with water? Or a drinking fountain?

Glad you found it. Note with Turbo you can even do fuzzy searches like "waste:grey_water" which will find even partial strings.

What does toilets:disposal=50.00000000000 mean?

30291243 over 10 years ago

Alan, thanks for mapping.

There are 7 uses of "sanitary_dump_satation:round_drain", which has a typo in the word "station".

Also the name tag should be blank, unless the station actually has a name.

Sergio: Is node osm.org/node/3309711661 for motorhomes? Is black_water accepted? Is this an "amenity=sanitary_dump_station"?

The tagging of camp site roads as "camp_site=<number>" is unusual here. There is discussion on this topic now on the tagging@openstreetmap.org list.

Is this a place for dog waste, or a place for motorhomes to dump?

12218039 over 10 years ago

Thanks for clarifying. Very similar tags are used for dog waste.

Is osm.org/node/1825440040 for motorhomes or dog waste?

What's the source of this data? "Bing" is listed, but the Bing photos used by OSM do not have village names.

My comments are independent of Robin Paulson's. I'm a database person, and have done OSM imports (including controversial ones). I'm not an enemy of imports, but an advocate for good ones.

Make that "ref:LINZ"

30444326 over 10 years ago

Could that be collapsed down to a single key?

LINZ:ref=mainland-exotic_poly-123128379

The current one does not have a primary key or object reference to the LINZ dataset.

The toilets of node 28926698 are marked as both flush and pitlatrine. Which is it?

Is osm.org/node/2590878664 a walk up toilet (amenity=toilets) or a drive up place for dumping a motorhome tank (amenity=sanitary_dump_station)?
