142303477 | almost 2 years ago | What is the source of the name "Beer camp" for the camp_site node at 50.4596681, 14.6043892? |
141913356 | almost 2 years ago | Mapillary imagery from August 2022 shows the crossing at 50.1028300, 13.7293602 as crossing=uncontrolled. If this has really changed to crossing=traffic_signals, please also add highway=traffic_signals nodes on either side, tagged with their respective traffic_signals:direction tags. |
140452483 | almost 2 years ago | * into JOSM. |
140452483 | almost 2 years ago | I just reloaded this intersection and JOSM and it looks correctly mapped: from the southern segment of the tertiary road, the only possible maneuver is straight on onto the secondary road, westbound, while from the northern tertiary segment the only possible manueuver is a right turn onto the secondary road northbound. |
140452483 | almost 2 years ago | At the intersection with the secondary road, the tertiary highway seems to split into two two-lane link roads, each of which is for turning left or right specifically. Therefore, I have set a turn restriction as is normally done in these situations. |
139649744 | almost 2 years ago | I will go ahead and restore the pubilc_transport=platform tag to these highway=bus_stop nodes that are off the road. This has already being done en masse in Poland by other mappers and often when I begin mapping some new part of PL, there are no longer any nodes with solely the highway=bus_stop tag. |
139649744 | almost 2 years ago | To be more clear, the Osmose bugs that your tagging is generating are these kind: “Missing public_transport tag on a public transport stop. Specify if it is a stop (platform) or a location on the road (stop_position)". |
139649911 | almost 2 years ago | Your geometry for pedestrian crossings violates the principle that ways are traced from center-line to center-line, and it is inconsistent with the prevalent practice in Poland. |
139649744 | almost 2 years ago | Why are you deleting public_transport=platform tags. These are not considered unnecessary. On the contrary, the presence of highway=bus_stop but not public_transport=platform will generate an Osmose bug. The very reason that my edit, which you partly reverted, added the platform tag was to close two of those Osmose bugs. |
113550093 | about 2 years ago | This changeset marked Rynek street in Strzelin as highway=living_street. Was this based on the presence of the official Polish signage for living streets? I cycled here yesterday and I can’t remember seeing anything like that, so I would expect highway=residential here. |
136525136 | about 2 years ago | Is there really a roundabout at 49.34922, 14.04928? Neither Bing imagery nor Mapillary imagery from 2022 still does not show a roundabout there. |
138007114 | about 2 years ago | Yes, my mistake. Thanks for fixing it. |
136562796 | about 2 years ago | Editing a town on OSM is not restricted to people who live there. Poland has high-quality aerial imagery through Geoportal, so that any mapper in Poland familiar with Polish roads, sidewalks, and footways/cycleways can make edits across the country. If there was any edit where I incorrectly tagged a way or node, then please point that out and we can discuss it. But gatekeeping is not appropriate. |
80046365 | over 2 years ago | You set tourism=apartment on a lot of these buildings, but the changeset comment is only “added condos and garages”. Are these furnished apartments that tourists can temporarily rent near the sea (in which case the tag is appropriate), or apartment buildings that people live in permanently? |
77847824 | over 2 years ago | What is the source of the village name "Poblado Chulavsta (El Chorizo)" that you added in Baja California in this changeset? The spelling should be "Chulavista", but when I passed through the area, I saw no signage supporting this name. |
39697662 | over 2 years ago | This changeset marked the Santa Ana Canyon road (34.10658, -117.10152) access=private. However, are bicycles allowed on it? The other roads to the south are specifically marked for bicycles. If cyclists can use this way, the tagging needs to be changed to motor_vehicle=private. |
116562837 | over 2 years ago | What is the source for the access=destination tag on Lake Drive? (The road going south from 33.08920, -117.11343.) I changed this to motor_vehicle=destination, because the access= tag is usually too general, but I wonder if even motor_vehicle=destination is justified. Is there signage there indicating that the road is for residents only? |
82483926 | almost 3 years ago | Please do not add name:de tags unless the name is actually in German. Here at Col Tiz Timicha (32.2864682, -5.3073653), that is the French name, which is already present, and not the German name. |
113645265 | almost 3 years ago | Please use correct tagging. A swimming pool should be tagged leisure=swimming_pool. Your use of natural=water was incorrect. Also, you do not need to add generic name= tags like "Shetitore" or "Swimming Pool". |
126621894 | almost 3 years ago | When the =path standard is well-recognized and now exclusively used across some other European countries with good cycling infastructure, updating the tagging instead of dealing with a router’s developer seems a better solution for the future. Furthermore, iD only tags as highway=cycleway when a user intentionally selects from among presets, but it recognizes preexisting =path tagging. Therefore, I wouldn’t expect novice mappers to tag back to highway=cycleway, because they would not even see any problem. As far as I am aware, the most popular OSM-based bike routers (OSMAnd, Brouter, Organic Maps, Komoot) have supported =path tagging already for years now. |
