Thanks. I've done a factory reset which is supposed to format & reinstall everything. There's stuff there that wasn't removed, so I don't know whether it's fixed it or not. That remains to be seen.

I came across a few of your stops after I did a bit of ground reconnaissance in Corinda the other day, and augmented them with the data I collected. In some cases they were a bit off compared to my GPS points so I realigned them (hope you don't mind,) but otherwise they're brilliant. :D

That's a fair point. I've been doing some more reading, and talking with the people on IRC and the consensus as you suggest is that “highway” has to go. It seems that area=yes and access=something should be enough for routing purposes.

The interesting thing is that the Wikipedia article itself states “Many beaches, particularly on the east shore, also serve as roads.” It's that which makes me think they should be marked more formally somehow.

That said, the solution at the moment seems reasonable enough. I guess I'll keep an eye on the trends and update it later if need be. :)

Yeah, there's no anti-aliasing afaik, but it's still useful to get a closer look. I haven't worked out JOSM 100% yet, but I haven't used it all that much yet. :)
