Park Street about south of here appears closed as part of the construction to the southwest. Castleward Phase 1 is nearly complete, and there's a plaza-y thing with some sort of artwork or something on it at its eastern corner.

According to Evening Post this has just opened (27-Jul-15): there dont seem to be any pedestrian access routes to the tram stop or platforms. Needs checking.

I don't think the walls on this are at all correctly aligned with the castle itself.

Does osm.org/way/307714128#map=18/53.32169/-1.58438 join the road to the north or the bridleway to the west? The Bing imagery would suggest the bridleway, but there's a wall mapped in the way.
