My name is Charlie Kay, and I am mapping my city Cheyenne Wyoming US, the state capitol of Wyoming population of 85,000. We are one the high plains grasslands where a half million emigrants walked along wagons toward the Pacific coast in the 1840-1872 period before the Union Pacific Railroad established Cheyenne. I have been learning and fighting Google maps for the past year, to get past their obstructionist reviewers who deny sites not yet seen on older satellite layers. I gave up. Now that OSM has the ability to surpass Google maps, I am joyful and busy editing 800 photos and data of all regional businesses, sites, buildings, attractions and geological points to apply. Fort Collins Colorado 38 miles south, will be added, once Cheyenne and Laramie WY are mapped. Fort Collins is home to Colorado State University, and many webmasters who will accept OSM into their networks.
