In all religions, they remember their leaders with respect. For example, in the church, instead of Maryam, it is written as The holy Maryam. Now you are preventing the word "عليه السلام" from being written after the names of the prophets.

You have even used the name in Hebrew in another place when there is no sign in Hebrew. Your actions are biased.

Definitely, in the future, the pictures of the target board will be added.
And as for the country of Iraq, I have done no disrespect to the people or the country of Iraq itself. I say that this country is definitely not an anarchy so that anyone can install something on the street.
When in reality there is a sign on the street level, then it should be recorded on the map.
You keep trying to sideline the discussion. Try to follow the osm wiki rules.
With respect to the people of Iraq

By the way, you did not pay attention to the writings and you should read it again.
I talk to you based on the rules, but you keep calling me a foreigner. Anyone can edit the map. It is not your paternal inheritance map. Wiki rules are the same everywhere.

It is stated in the wiki rules that adding the name of a city, street or shop in other languages helps Map Internationalization and is useful. But we must keep in mind that translation into another language does not change the content of the name in the original language.

It is mentioned in the link below that it is useful to register other languages.

I must say again, if you continue, give an example from the rules of the wiki. Do not do tasteful things.

If you insist on continuing this discussion, do so by citing the rules. For example, I mentioned the name of the city of Najaf, which is written in several other languages, and we do not have any writing in these languages on the signboard at the entrance of the city. So, in fact, there is nothing wrong with adding the name of any complication in several languages. Whether it is the name of a city or a street or a famous place in the world

139255358 over 1 year ago

Is the name of the city of Najaf written on the board in the 22 languages I mentioned in the previous note?
It is not mentioned in the osm rules that if the name of a city or street is not written in other languages on the board, no one is allowed to add another language. So, legally, you are not allowed to remove the "name" tag in other languages that are not in the board.

146749283 over 1 year ago

The new name of the streets is used in the tag "name" and the old name in "old name", the local name is used in "loc name", and if the tag "name" is long, it can be tagged "short name".

The wiki documentation does not contradict what I said. Have you polled that people use that name or do you have a problem with that name yourself? The sign that was recently installed here is an official sign, not a small or handwritten sign, and if it was not the official name, the municipality would have removed it. Why do you think Iraq is so chaotic that anyone can install whatever they want in the city? If a sign is installed on the street, it must be done with the permission of the municipality. But it seems that apart from the municipality, they should have asked permission from you too!! Meanwhile, OSM does not pursue political issues. In osm, we try to record every complication on the ground from whichever party we are.
At the same time, the writing on the board is not unfavorable or ambiguous. Unfavorability is your personal opinion.

If LockOnGuy's words are true, then we should not use other languages in the names of the cities because they are not in the board. But here you can see that the name of the city of Najaf is also written in 22 other languages...

LockOnGuy‏
To add the main name in the name tag, we need a panel. But to add the name of a place in several languages, we don't necessarily have to have a sign. For example, regarding the names of the cities, most of the countries that are active in osm are written in several languages, the name of that city is written on the map, although there is nothing recorded in the board in those languages. By the way, in response to you about my registrations having political reasons: By the way, you are the one who is deleting my registrations because of your taste and political reason. You call me a foreign user! In osm, any editor, regardless of which part of the world he is from, can edit according to the rules, and you cannot prevent this.

Hello
According to OSM rules, if the name of a street is written on the board, we cannot remove it for reasons or political taste. Anyway, in one of the name tags, the words on the board should be recorded.
In addition, we all know that Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis was a general who rose up to fight against the DA'ESH terrorist group and sacrificed his life for his country, Iraq.
If you say in Wikipedia that he was a terrorist, we all know that Wikipedia is not impartial in political matters.
