Group 25/41post last used in 93, just a pity it's been vandalised, as if needed again it can't be used.
If the vandils knew what the post was used for, it was used to monitor bomb strikes in there town and let them know when it was safe to come out.

There is a tarmac footpath from here to Dalry Road (B780) which everyone uses.

This needs some survey; the Bing streetside imagery shows there being no bollard and Manse Brae continuing here. If there is a bollard, Manse Brae needs split and this section downgraded to service or similar.
