Could not find part of the trail as shown on the map. After searching around for it, then hiking through, we were met by the Observatory's Facilities Manager who indicated that part of the trail is closed and has been allowed to overgrow.

Relocated viewpoint and start of branch to same, based on GPS trace and local knowledge.
