Changeset When Comment

Hello, and welcome to OpenStreetMap!

Here are the couple of suggestions based on this edit:

1. Please keep edits geographically localised. This edit touches objects in Australia and Russia where different OSM editors in different parts of the world (including those of the Philippines) have different conventions, so cross-country changeset boundaries are a bit disruptive.

So this change should probably have been one changeset to add in Australia, and another one in Russia.

See osm.wiki/Changeset#Geographical_size_of_changesets

2. You can use the ‘Q’ key within the iD, JOSM editors to automatically square the corners of selected buildings or straighten the line. This makes it a lot easier to draw regular buildings or even straighten way lines (including perimeter walls)!

Have a map-py editing :)

This changeset resolves the issue wherein OSRM refuses to navigate both bikes, foot traffic into highway=trunk, and moreover, we have to focus on the developments of the upcoming expressway (i.e. CALAx) that would further restrict the highway=primary into local traffic.

NOTICE: This changeset boundary may extend westward and southward beyond Cagayan Province due to PH-1 routing fixes. Your kind understanding is highly appreciated. Thank you very much.

Hi! You might reconsider refraining from adding access=private tags on roadways wherein it may impede such navigation. In that case, only parts of roadway with gate leading to residential settlements proper are considered as such.

STATEMENT FROM DP24: Upon changeset boundary analysis, it is found that due to errors on our part, it got extended from PHL to TUV. Apologies for inconveniences, and rest assured that all errors will be rectified on subsequent edits. Thank you very much.

Hello! Welcome to OpenStreetMap!

I do appreciate your first edit, but here's the issue here: You may have encroached the entire Republic of the Philippines on the changeset boundary box. To avoid such issue, kindly reduce the changeset boundary to per country basis (unless if you're into mapping an international ferry route).

This changeset reverts the changeset 120374466 in response to the anticipation of the public opening of CRK T2.

ADDENDUM: In this case, as per our (OSMPH) suggestion, operator=*; MNC=515; MCC=02/03/05/66 for Globe/Smart/Sun/Dito respectively; and gsm:cellid=*.

Hello, and thank you very much for contributing to OSM. However, the only deficiency is to refrain from naming the "[Operator] Cellsite" and instead, use the tag operator=Globe Telecom/Smart Communications/Dito Telecommunity. This will prevent further clutter on our mapping.

Hello! It seems that I have overlooked the previous comment where @seav have responded, but may we know which team you're affiliated with to avoid possible COI issues, and to promote transparency and accountability within OSMPH.

Hello! It looks like you have placed the access=private tags on main roadway (St. Charbel Avenue) where it shouldn't be in this case due to the fact that during regular days (Mon-Sat except Holidays), toll operations are in place. I'll send you further discussion once the Holy Week is over. Have a Blessed Holy Week ahead!

Thank you very much for realigning the proposed highway wherein I initially wasn't sure of such alignment on my initial mapping. Moreover, divided highways will be mapped once construction have commenced.

Unfortunately, those bypass roadways nowadays are considered trunk road due to main routing of all through traffic (incl. trucks, buses) disallowing them from going thru downtown/poblacion/bayan. Kindly revert immediately to prevent further issues.

Thank you very much for adding missing street names, and welcome to the OpenStreetMap! Since it is a real-time edit, you may need to read this wiki for good editing practice: osm.org/wiki/Good_practice. OMG! It must be pertaining to building:levels=2 instead, and thank you very much for your feedback! I'll have it corrected through subsequent changesets.

Will check on both busway post-activation of #EDSACarousel Buendia station/bus stop (where it is present), and ongoing reintegration of cycleway into main highway=trunk in phases as part of collaborated clean-ups.

Likewise, Sir Timmy and Sir Jherome, in case of further highway=trunk tagging, we need to consider the separation of the sidewalks and/or bicycle paths (as needed via KartaView, Mapillary, Maxar) where existing railings or concrete jersey barriers (in case of most urban cities) could require us to independently map as such. In case of in-highway bicycle lane on divided highway, bicycle=yes, cycleway:[left/right]=lane, cycleway:[left/right]:separation:[left/right]=solid_line/bollard could work properly for most cases.

NOTE: This changeset reverts some edits made in changeset 118176561 due to separated sidewalk, bicycle route recovery that got erroneously removed.
