Who am I?
- I’m a person in the South of England, living in/around Basingstoke.

My Mapping Interests
Ways (Roads, Paths, etc)
- Adding cycle & walking infrastructure,
- Lighting,
Nodes (including buildings)
- Separating out buildings to avoid ambiguity,
- One large pet peeve of mine is multiple addresses to 1 building. In the field, I typically enter them as a range, but when I can sit down and use a more powerful editor, I try and separate them out into different buildings.
- Adding addresses (I feel that this is a major downside of using OSM in a lot of places, so I want to fix that),
Miscellaneous
- I really like to include anything accessibility related (tactile paving, surface, etc),
- Again, I like to try and include lighting in roads/paths,
- I want to add to this publicly avaliable resource, free for others, because of what it is.
Trains
- As someone with a lot of knowledge about trains, I try to add data to the map. Previous edits have included re-naming all of the West of England Line to the correct name with a Wikidata tag, and adding many signals with full UK tagging.
- I aim to eventually cover every single bit of track in the UK, correct all the bridges (I’ve seen many roads tagged as tunnels when it is actually a bridge over the road), add as much data, and trawl through the sectional appendices to add as much data as possible including speed limits. Yes it’s painful. Yes it’ll take a looong time, but the map will have more data!
