58648545 | over 7 years ago | Hello @marzjhon, and welcome OpenStreetMap. Thank you! Kudos for helping make a better map of your favorite neighborhoods. OSM is a database of real-world features, used by many humanitarian and emergency service organizations. Fictional edits has no place in OSM. Some of the features you've added we're tagged incorrectly. That happens, so don't worry they've been fixed for you. The osm.wiki is a useful reference for finding more information about mapping particular features. You also appear to be adding Pokémon Go related features, so you might find this guide useful: osm.wiki/Tips_for_new_(Pokemon_Go)_mappers . There's this concise tips page for Philippine contributors: https://telegra.ph/Awesome-OSM-Tips--Tricks-01-28 Also, find out the latest happenings, or interact with local contributors through these community channels: https://telegra.ph/OpenStreetMap-LoCo-channels-in-the-Philippines-02-15 If you have any questions at all, please feel free to get in touch. You might be doubtful about a particular tag, or would like to clarify their use. Or perhaps, you have ideas you want to flesh out to improve your neighborhood map. Or maybe just want to know more about OSM. Welcome and best regards,

58618703 | over 7 years ago | Welcome to OpenStreetMap (OSM) @Louie Rivas. I've noted your recent edits. Thank you for helping a better map of your favorite neighbourhoods. Some of the features you've added we're tagged incorrectly. Don't worry, I fixed them for you. Memorial gardens are cemeteries, and are not tagged as "parks". 58604843 | over 7 years ago | Hello @DPWHMap. Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Thank you for your edits. This looks okay. Next time, though, try to avoid connect POIs with other POIs, unless they're are logically together. Are you from DPWH? Which particular department or office? 58546952 | over 7 years ago | We've noted how many "parks" you've been adding recently, and unfortunately they don't seem to meet the tagging guidelines. Do you need any help in particular? Physically, and the imagery shows it's this tag is fictitious. You probably find this frustrating, but this is the nature of the community projects in OSM. Kindly find the time to go over the the local mapping conventions: osm.wiki/Philippines/Mapping_conventions and get in touch with local mappers, to help answer any questions you may have: osm.wiki/Philippines/Local_Community_Channels This changeset will be rolled back.

58468330 | over 7 years ago | A cemetery even if it has the name "park" in it, doesn't qualify it as a park. Kindly use the appropriate tags for map features. These maps are in use by emergency and humanitarian organizations, and accurate data is essential for their services. |
58468030 | over 7 years ago | Kindly tag features correctly, as seen on the ground, and not because you want to enhance your Pokemon game. 58447102 | over 7 years ago | Hi there, and welcome to OpenStreetMap. I noticed that you've been adding a number of "parks" that don't appear to be valid. PoGo players are welcome to OpenStreetMap, but do keep in mind that OpenStreetMap is a database of real-world features, and are also used by emergency and humanitarian services. Kindly don't add fictional data. A patio is not a park. |
58392627 | over 7 years ago | Hi @Dos Dos. Welcome to OpenStreetMap. I noticed that you've been trying to add street names, by adding apartment nodes. Ideally, the best way to do this is to use the iD editor found in osm.org. Kindly note that these street names you were trying to add is already on OpenStreetMap. If you don't see it on your app, please check for the latest update. We do need your help verifying the correct name for a street named "Karilagan", which you tried to mar as "Katatagan": osm.org/way/126180231#map=19/14.67461/120.95117 For more tips, there's this concise tips page for Philippine contributors: https://telegra.ph/Awesome-OSM-Tips--Tricks-01-28 Also, find out the latest happenings, or interact with local contributors through these community channels: https://telegra.ph/OpenStreetMap-LoCo-channels-in-the-Philippines-02-15 If you have any questions at all, please feel free to get in touch. 58358281 | over 7 years ago | Hi there. What are these features you've been tagging as post offices? |
58302544 | over 7 years ago | There are concerns about this changeset. The international convention is to specify a general religion tag for places of worship, and the accepted convention in the Philippines is that the Iglesia ni Cristo is a Christian church, the denomination differentiates it against other Christian churches. 57991152 | over 7 years ago | I'm using the refreshed Bing imagery here, and the odd angle was due to a segment I missed. It's been fixed. Thanks for the catch. |

Edges are rough, but it dropped all commercial links from the original. |

58054876 | over 7 years ago | what's "IDESS"? |
58166218 | over 7 years ago | Hello @erLyn16. I recently noticed your contributions to OpenStreetMap (OSM). Thank you! Kudos for using OpenStreetMap's to create a better map of your community. As you may know, your edit is immediately live in the main OSM (read it like "awesome" 😉) website as soon as they've been saved to the database, although other apps (e.g. OsmAnd, MagicEarth, Maps.Me, etc.) may take a few weeks (or months) to refresh their copies unless you do a manual update yourself. I noticed that you're adding feature names that are all capitalized. The convention is to simply use title case, (e.g. "Mang Martin" and not "MANG MARTIN"). For now, I fixed your earlier edits for you, but do try to avoid that in the future. When you have a few minutes to spare, try the browser-based editor called iD, to edit the map of your community. You may find it quicker and easier if you need to update a lot of information on the map.
