Thanks! I checked those coordinates, but they look doubtful, and doesn't appear to be a sea platform, though it looks like a small jetty.

The latter is a different lighthouse altogether.

Hey, if you're keen on mapping lighthouses, too, extra 👀 and more 👐 are welcome: https://maproulette.org/browse/challenges/9928 😃

Thank you! It indeed looks like a match.

I was relying on a secondary description that said lighthouse was "on a sea platform" of some kind, but this seems to be an accurate match.

Looks like a stray paste operation. Thanks for catching.

Hi there! Your changeset mentioned NAMRIA as the source for the administrative boundary you added.

As far as I know, the local OSM community doesn't have the permission nor has received any waiver to use this dataset.

Can you please elaborate your use of this NAMRIA data source?

For an overview about this concern, kindly check this out: https://hackmd.io/@osmph/BJx5exZWw

Your local knowledge help create more awesome maps! Thank you.

You might want to add a more descriptive changeset comment (e.g. brief note about the edit(s) you made), that can be useful for your fellow mappers.

"ok" is a too terse, and doesn't provide any context about your edit.

Welcome to OpenStreetMap (OSM), and thank you for helping improve the map.

In OSM, the convention is to avoid abbreviations, so you might want to spell out "St." as "Street". The map layer will render the abbreviations, if necessary. For more info, see osm.org/wiki/Abbreviation

Hello, and welcome to OpenStreetMap.

Your changeset added "FORESTblock" as an operator of this forest. Have you seen the wiki for this key: osm.org/wiki/Operator which shows what is expected for this tag?

The year in the namespace is meant to indicate when a note was made: e.g. osm.org/node/930617110

Hello!

Thank you for contributing to OSM, and helping make better maps.

Try not to use abbreviations on object names. See osm.org/wiki/Names#Abbreviation_.28don.27t_do_it.29

Hello @PD2testing! Welcome sa OpenStreetMap (OSM)! Lahat ng edits na iyong gagawin sa OSM, kapag ito'y na-save na ay agarang maitatampok sa mapa. Ika nga ni Yoda, " ... there is no try." 😉

Ang OpenStreetMap(OSM) ay isang plataporma ng pag-mamapa ng sama-sama, at ang lahat ay malayang makapag-a-ambag sa pagpapabuti ng mapa.

That's awesome! Thank you for helping improve the map @RandomMuntinlupeño. Maybe you can separate the Doña Rosario Bayview Subdivision & Don Juan Subdivision as points, rather than one big residential area? By doing so, it will help other people find both elements separately.

Thank you for taking the time to check this out.

We don't have any expectations about address completeness in OSM, although many consider the street name as the minimum. Unfortunately, that's the only information on-hand, so I'd rather add them, than lose them.

addr2:street or addr:3street are not typos, albeit uncommon. See: https://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/keys/addr2:street#map

If this road actually serves the construction site, then it is inappropriate to disconnect this road. I restored the connection, and added "access=private" tag to this segment since you implied its used by the construction site.

115989193 over 3 years ago

By the way, I know you wanted to add the neighbourhood's name, and appended it to the street name, so I took those out, because they really aren't part of those features.

115989193 over 3 years ago

Hi Aldrine! Welcome to OpenStreetMap (OSM), and thank you for improving the map of your favorite neighbourhood.

The simplest way to do what you want is to add a node, and tag it as a neighbourhood. However, since you already added a residential area, I added the name to it instead, and made some changes to its geometry. See osm.org/way/1005218602
