Changeset When Comment

Hello @Ronald Licayan.

Kindly don't add branch information in the establishment's name. The address tags is the appropriate place for that.

Hello Harish.

I've been reviewing the changes you made in this changeset here: https://overpass-api.de/achavi/?changeset=59414433

And as you can see, a lot of road geometries has been changed, but when compared to the Bing imagery, they don't appear to follow it accurately.

In fact, the earlier version, before your edits were geometrically better. Could you say why this is so?

Also, if you're editing in behalf of Grab, could you post your project's public page, with a list of mappers working for your project, and your project manager's contact information?

Hi @Poncilito. Kamusta na kayo?

I recently noticed you've been doing a lot of landuse edits in your hometown. What are you folks working on?

59414433 about 7 years ago

Hi there, I'm GOwin from the local OSM community.

I noticed your recent edits (and that you're mapping in behalf of Grab) are being aligned against ESRI imagery, which often has offsets that has to be adjusted.

Could you either review this changeset after you've adjusted your offset, or roll it back? For reference, we record the the offsets we use in http://offsets.textual.ru/map

I'm looking forward to hear back from you.

By the way, in view of the OSMF Directed Editing Guidelines being constituted, could you post a link to a page where the names of Grab editors and project managers are available?

Thank you for the information about street names.

When you have a few minutes to spare, try the browser-based editor called iD, to edit the map of your community. You may find it quicker and easier if you need to update a lot of information on the map.

Hello @TheThirdTrainer, and welcome to OpenStreetMap (OSM).

Thank you! Kudos for helping make a better map of your favorite neighborhoods. OSM is a database of real-world features, used by many humanitarian and emergency service organizations. Fictional edits has no place in OSM.

Hello @Rubillos, and welcome OpenStreetMap (OSM).

This feature you tagged don't appear to be a park in the real world. Do you mind sharing additional photos of this feature to help validate it? As far as existing imagery shows, this is not a park.

Please note that there are various variances with imagery alignments, depending on the provider and even between provider's own imagery releases. Please cross reference with SatNav tracks

Try to avoid replacing the earlier work, even if they were made by you, by deleting them.

Simply edit those features.

It is not necessary to add redundant nodes (points) for feature that's already mapped as polygons (areas). Your mapping application should be able to find these features.

The imagery in this area indicates that this is a playground. Changeset has been rolled back.

Again, do not re-tag features as "parks" because you want to add them in your game.

Find real parks and tag them properly. Stop the nonsense of re-purposing other features as "parks".

Your suspicious edits has been reported, and are now monitored by community volunteers, and they will be rolled back or reverted when deemed necessary.
