Oh, sorry, I missed the fact this was with StreetComplete.
It tends to do things like this so no worries 👍

89763331 almost 5 years ago

Whilst this changeset is good, you have been to the location and surveyed the post-boxes! :)
Please don't upload far-apart things things like this in one changeset, it makes the changeset massive.
I would have made this two changesets (one for Blacktoft, one for Beverly).

Have fun mapping!! :)
if you need any help feel free to ask around

I'm sure this was accidental, as the iD editor likes to do this, but one of the buildings has been turned into a multipolygon for no reason, with a normal version also existing as a dupliate.
I will fix this myself, just though I would let you know :)
Have fun!

May I ask why you added a (I think duplicate) serivce road and then delete the old one in changeset: osm.org/changeset/89900082

If you made a mistake and added a duplicate please delete the new way and not the old way, this way the editing history is preserved.

Thanks o/

Heyo! Hope you're doing well :)
It is redundant to add a description like this as it is already known it is a gate from the `barrier=gate` tag on this node for now I will leave the description on there as the is no benefit from removing it.
Just don't waste your time adding descriptions to everything, I think we all know what a gate is, and there are better things to map.
Descriptions can't be used by much software/people and should only ideally be used for describing more complex bigger features or things that are different from the norm.

Have fun :)

Ah sorry I was wrong, you used MAPS.ME to edit, I do not know how to align images in that program, so please look that up yourself!

89531915 almost 5 years ago

Welcome to OSM!
I have merged the node in this edit with the building as there is no need for them to be separate as far as I see.
Also I assume you moved the building to be aligned to the imagery as it was not in the correct position. Please align your imagery before using it to move things as imagery is always wonky and not in the correct position at first, see osm.wiki/Using_Imagery#Matching_imagery_using_different_editors under the "iD" section (this is the map editor you were using).
You just move it until the images line up with things that already exist on the map.

Hello and Welcome to OSM!
I see in your previous edit you added the info to the building for Poppy's Retreat, there is no need to have a node ("point" as you called it) as well.
If there is info on the node that isn't on the building I suggest you add it to the building.
It also seems like someone else fixed the spacing on the postcode for you.
Have fun :)

Sorry, this edit is perfectly fine, my mistake :)
What I was using to view the changeset (OSMCha) didn't show that the node was part of a way and it looked like it was just a disconnected node.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Ah good, that's fine then, was just checking 👍

For some reason this edit has moved a bus stop in Louth as well as the buildings you mentioned.
The bus stop: osm.org/node/502337851
If this was intentional try to make these separate edits in the future as this change set has a massive bounding box and the edits are unrelated.

Bing imagery is the best in and near Hull in my experience.

Was this an automated edit?
Was there discussion of this?
This is an extremely large edit and things like this shouldn't be done without some discussion.

If it was just the brand tags then personally I think it is ok.

89497828 almost 5 years ago

What is the lone node to the south of this edit for?
It has no tags and isn't connected to anything else.

Source shouldn't have had notes as one of the sources and should have had Aerial Imagery

How exactly does this footpath cross Peony grove?
I would assume it just joins with it as that is what it does elsewhere, but you seem to have missed a section.
I think you used iD (in-browser-editor) so when you select the footpath it should give you a list of options of what you can do.

Thanks for contributing to OSM!
