Use of private supplier information to improve road attributes in Germany | Hi, it might a stupid question, but why don’t you fit your drivers with cameras, and upload the images to an open platform like Mapillary ? Not the same quality, but useful for everyone… Regards. |

Cordialement. |

OSM GPX extractor for non experts | Right, it’s a bit cumbersome, but it works ! :-) You might want to add some kind of completion, looking for wikidata items with OSM IDs, because when I tried, your tool asked me to change the first item, which was confusing. Anyway thanks for your tool. You could add a “water” section, I like to have drinking_water, toilets and such highlighted on my maps. Regards. |

OSM GPX extractor for non experts | Otherwise it worked quite well with area “ Sweden “, with Firefox mobile 68.5.0 and osmand. |
|
OSM GPX extractor for non experts | When I search for “Brittany”, it finds Q327, which is the historical entity and has no OSM relation ID, as it doesn’t exists anymore. The correct result would be Q12130 which has the correct relation ID. Regards. |

Fotos einfügen oder verlinken / Add or link to photos and videos | I use mapillary for hosting mapping photos, it has a dedicated tag. |

Unnamed Highways | Hi, In some countries, there’s data sources you are allowed to use, in France we have BANO for this purpose of naming roads. Check the wiki for your place. The principle of ground truth doesn’t imply that you can’t use third party data sources, only that the person on site knows better than any data provider. The trouble is that most data providers refuse the reuse of data, you can display it on their website and that’s it. If they think their data is used for OSM, they could sue the project… So usually you have to go there and check the signs, or ask the neighboors… If you can’t, it’s okay to ignore the warnings, others might do it later. Good luck. |

Mapper of the Month | Where is the promised link? And no mention on the osm.be website either! At least on mobile. I had to go through the wiki to find the interview… Thanks for the interviews by the way, always nice to read! :-) |

Experimented on Mapping By Photo-geotagging | Hello, You could use OSMTracker or OsmAnd to record your track while you walk, even in your pocket. Thus when you take a photo, the GPS fix is already done. My 2c Regards |

Historical Objects map | Your portal is not mobile friendly. When I click on “Here is the map”, it just reload the page. I get a glance of a language menu before the reload takes place but no chance to click on it. Regards. |
