The last time I rode this trail - August 2024 - it was a narrow, gravel trail. The same can be said of the nearby Donwood trail (which has stairs and is still listed as a part of the bikeway network) https://www.saanich.ca/assets/Local~Government/Documents/Engineering/Cycling-%20Network.pdf This is a case of official documentation not matching reality, and it feels unsafe to mark this as a bikeway because of the infrastructure present. |
