|
74660133 | almost 4 years ago | I'm guessing that you meant to get rid of the Paisley relation but one of its ways stayed behind because it is part of the Glasgow relation. I would delete it myself but wanted to be sure. - Jez |
109278137 | about 4 years ago | That looks better. Thanks for the update. |
109278137 | about 4 years ago | not saying that it is your changes, but i'm not sure how Brighton Racecourse is meant to be modelled here. In real life: the two grass sections are split by Wilson Avenue, which is temporarily closed during races with coir matting laid over the road surface. So, in OSM are there supposed to be 2 * sections linked with a relation? or just by name? The current grass overlaps the road. Should the 2 sections be merged? - Jez |
106102516 | about 4 years ago | Hi Brian, check out the Talk page of memorial=blue_plaque. Sure, we didn't get round to officially deprecating it...but I'm not really a fan of the tagging list 'officially' deprecating things. - Jez |
105831329 | about 4 years ago | Oh! Thanks for spotting Neil. I must have been having an off day. OpenPlaque 55158 is clearly over near Christmas Steps. This one is John Foster's former house, but not sure what the inscription says. - Jez |
105359774 | about 4 years ago | How strange. The Name Suggestion Index appears to point it at Q98456772 https://nsi.guide/index.html?t=brands&k=shop&v=convenience&tt=Tesco&cc=gb but the shortcut fills in Q487494 |
96213259 | about 4 years ago | BTW, I would tag a terraced *house* as building=house and only use building=terrace to draw one big block for the whole row (because I was feeling lazy!) |
101514810 | over 4 years ago | Hi there,
|
94515964 | over 4 years ago | with respect, please reconsider using blue_plaque which confuses our foreign colleagues and has been superseded by memorial=plaque. Regards, Jez |
92779783 | over 4 years ago | Thanks for adding. If you get the chance to look and this is 'OX18 950' then please add as the ref |
99684586 | over 4 years ago | No problem...couldn't resist it |
99392819 | over 4 years ago | I get the feeling like we are going to have a lot of these in the next few months |
97598640 | over 4 years ago | I think you meant the one just down the hill outside the architects osm.org/node/892736461 there isn't a second postbox is there? |
97598234 | over 4 years ago | thanks for spotting that the road was too long...I turned it into a private driveway otherwise Amazon won't be able to find you... BTW you might want to add the address to osm.org/way/867672424 |
10112250 | over 4 years ago | Heh, sorry, didn't notice it was 9 years ago. Similar thoughts here. Defining a property boundary as a relation of walls, fences, driveways, etc. whilst correct, is clumsy...but UK property definitions are clumsy. It may come up for discussion again due to ref:UK:uprn. Thanks for the response. |
10112250 | over 4 years ago | I'm interested in the use of property_boundary. Should it not be something tangible like a wall or a fence? Or are you intending to upgrade them later? Or do you mean that it's an observable boundary like 2 joined driveways? |
53338304 | over 4 years ago | A long time ago, I know, but just been reading https://memoirsofametrogirl.com/2018/12/29/sloane-square-tube-station-river-westbourne-kilburn-history/ is this actually a culvert and not an aquaduct? |
95937422 | over 4 years ago | Ach, sorry, that is just further down. This is a driveway osm.org/changeset/95949338 |
