Hi Dan, welcome to OSM!
I see you've requested a review - you've made a great start with tracing the buildings but there are a couple more steps to refine the outlines:
1) 'Squaring' (shortcut: Q) each building to make the corners right-angles.
2) Move (shortcut: M) each outline to ground floor level.
Happy mapping :)

Hi TeessideMapper,
What on-the-ground evidence is there that 'Hartwell' exists as a suburb, and a suburb of where? I'm sure you're aware the wikipedia page for Hartwell was deleted due to lack of notability - and was subject to much edit-warring over naming prior to deletion - whereas most other areas of Stockton-on-Tees still retain their wiki pages. I note the later anonymous edit to the Hartburn wiki page to claim that Hartwell is part of Hartburn (a suburb of a suburb?) but named Queensgate, though what about Low Hartburn in between?
I hope you can clarify the situation.
Kind regards,
Jez

Ahh, I didn't realise there was other options like addr:village because the wiki only mentions addr:city for the place name. Thanks.

Hi CjMalone,
addr:city=Saltburn ??? I'm assuming OSM copies RM's 'post towns' for addr:city fields? I know I'm relatively new to the project, but it seems to me that just because a private company uses a town 10 miles away for its address database doesn't mean OSM should be following their format, though I'm happy to be corrected if that is the agreed method.
Happy mapping,

Hi Joe E, thank you for adding/amending these routes. For your info, the Transpennine at Redcar Central both arrives at AND departs from platform 2. (Between arrival/departure it shunts into the goods line behind Morrisons to let the Northern service to Saltburn past).
Keep up the good work!

Hi MacLondon, Stagecarriage went out of business last year so this route no longer exists. NB. Many bus relations in Teesside are out-of-date due to annual route changes by the current operators and lack of mappers + lack of motivation to redraw them all every time!

Hi Wibblejunior, thank you for adding the X93 route to OSM. I have a query though - when I travelled on this route last summer it went through Aislaby. Is it missing out Aislaby now?
Kind regards,

Hi chris_debian, regarding your change of waterway=riverbank -> natural=water + water=river, just wondered if this is something iD enforces? (I note the riverbank tag is used more often worldwide).

Hi Joe E, can I query your edit to way 389104518. I'd noticed a different (non-local) mapper make a semi-automated edit from Lloyds TBS -> Lloyds Bank a few months ago but was unsure about that because it closed a few years ago for redevelopment and wasn't on the bank's website - https://www.gazettelive.co.uk/news/teesside-news/work-begins-turning-former-lloyds-13917547 - however I didn't query it at the time, thinking I might survey it myself later, but I don't visit Middlesbrough that often.
Are you able to confirm if Lloyds have re-opened a branch in the building?
Kind regards, Jez.

Hi Rootmtoot,
Excellent, thank you. I've updated the info and removed the duplicate point in changeset 80654774.

Hi Rootmtoot, thank you for updating the information on the garden centre. FYI, OpenStreetMap has a guideline "One feature, one OSM element" osm.wiki/One_feature,_one_OSM_element
You've added a duplicate point in addition to updating the building, but with different opening hours, and I don't know which is correct. Hopefully you'll be able to advise.
Happy mapping :)

That's good to know - I was simply disconnecting the footpath from the residential area and town boundary. Is there some type of barrier at the north-western end of the path?

That's hilarious - the "road" in the car scrapyard classified as a parking_aisle! I suppose in a weird way it is a car park, but not in the conventional meaning of the term.

Hi map_man_06, welcome to OSM! You're the second new editor of Ingleby Barwick this month and it's great to see this area getting attention.
You requested a review - can I point out the 'square' function - shortcut 'Q' - which causes the corners of a selected object to be right-angles.
Happy mapping, Jez.

Hi Joe E,
I really appreciate the amount of work that you must have done to adjust these routes. So frustrating then that Arriva scrapped the S1 route completely after less than three months of the weekday service. They've now merged it into the X12 which doesn't appear to be mapped at all. That's one reason I haven't dabbled in adjusting bus routes yet - by the time I've completed some, they'll probably have changed again!
Happy mapping,
Jez.

I stand corrected on that, I assumed as it isn't a public right of way (road is closed one day a year) that normal rules wouldn't apply. I don't know enough to be sure.

Hi Lafammm, welcome to OpenStreetMap.
I was just wondering if there was a reason for changing these specific streets to tertiary? Obviously as it's private land I've never visited, but normal highway regulations wouldn't apply so it seems unusual to have different classifications within the port.
BTW, you've accidentally changed the landuse to 'forest' :)

Hi Matticusguy,
Just a small observation: bus stop stand letters should go in the `local_ref=` tag, not appended to the name.

Hi priymose,
I don't think this service road connects to The Viaduct - it should continue underneath.

Hi brutskmaria,
Thank you for adding these names, however full names should be used - not abbreviations.

I'm intrigued whether Mapbox has an overlay for these? AFAIK no-one has yet created a new background layer since the old OS Locator and StreetView products were withdrawn in 2016, so if Mapbox has a layer from one of the new products (which I presume is where these names were copied from?) I'm sure the GB community would be interested to use it.

Kind Regards, Jez
