This section of canal replaced by pipeline in 2020

New pump station for pipeline replacing small open canal that used to run from main regulator east of here, along north side of Regulator Road, now supplied from larger canal on south side of Regulator that remains. Pipeline part of modernisation project to reduce transmission losses and enable accurate metering

Supply canal no longer in use, part between regulator and pump station not used, section from new pump station north replaced by pipeline. Some sections drainage channel and supply close together before pipeline.
