70128007 | over 6 years ago | I've been mapping subdivisions like this: osm.org/way/338345923 |
70128007 | over 6 years ago | I see no problem with this, but would recommend also adding place=neighbourhood to the landuse polygons.

69948294 | over 6 years ago | "squared" is probably the wrong word for this - iD let's users "square" buildings by taking almost 90° angles and making them 90°. Complex shapes aren't just turned into 4 nodes squares. If a T shaped building is now a square shape, it's because it wasn't T shaped to begin with, and the contributor simply didn't notice that. |

70261988 | over 6 years ago | Hi,
|
70128470 | over 6 years ago | That's awesome! It's amazing how many unexpected uses there are for OSM data. |
70149679 | over 6 years ago | Floodplains should not be mapped as wetlands - there is a proposal for mapping them here: osm.wiki/Proposed_features/floodplain |
70126699 | over 6 years ago | Also, it appears that most of the addresses you've imported don't have addr:city or addr: postcode. These tags are very useful for ensuring that no two addresses are duplicated. This isn't the biggest issue, but if the source data has this information, it should most certainly be added. |
70042463 | over 6 years ago | OK.

69414362 | over 6 years ago | ^ Incorrect comment. Actual comment: Added landcover and fixed JOSM validator warnings. |
65323697 | over 6 years ago | First off, this wasn't really a mechanical edit. I used the ToDo plugin for JOSM to allow me to paste the tags to each object individually, and I fixed a ton of inaccurate data in the process. The reason for using the ToDo plugin was that many of the areas (and occasionally non closed ways) were actually lakes, ponds, streams, or basins. I did not want to mistag anything.

68210514 | over 6 years ago | Yikes, I thought that I had caught all of those. That key was accidentally created by me when using the Todo plugin in JOSM to scroll through each crossing. Using ] will go to the next crossing to add tags to. Unfortunately, I somehow added that character as a key to some crossings. I'll delete them now.

67964538 | over 6 years ago | This looks perfect, thanks for importing! |
65923262 | over 6 years ago | Sure, I'll revert this later today. I originally thought that adding the name=* tag was a good idea, but later found that OsmAnd rendered the name of the area:highways, cluttering up the rendering. This changeset, though, is tagging for the renderer, as I now see. OsmAnd should change, not osm. I'll revert this. |
65807922 | over 6 years ago | Thanks! Should I resolve the note now? |
65763946 | over 6 years ago | True, it can be considered a "park", but it is not a city park like the Osm definition of "park". |
65296511 | over 6 years ago | The Overpass Turbo Query Wizard does not handle emoji. Reverting might be hard. We would really like you to revert this edit - it is not part of the OSM community culture to revert other contributors intentional edits.
