Nice first changeset! I made one small fix to the dirt roads you added: converted them to "unmaintained track road". This is the OpenStreetMap standard for dirt roads. They should now show up as brown dotted lines on the map.

Nice first changeset, and welcome to OpenStreetMap!

Esri World Imagery in this area is pretty high resolution, so things looked pretty clear.

Well, I left half of the buildings as building=yes. I only choose building=detached if I was certain that the building was a detached house. Some buildings looked like houses, but were in commercial looking areas. I left those as building=yes to be safe.
I generally tried to stay on the safe side.

Common sense indeed.

I might use highway=service + service=parking aisle instead of living street, but it's up to you. Several different road types work in this situation.

Update: buildings will be added too. We are planning on using a tasking manager page for the import so that anyone familiar with JOSM can help with the import.

Yay for StreetComplete! I use it too, and have answered most quests around Chapel Hill, with the major exception of most building levels quests. Anyway, welcome to OpenStreetMap!

Nice first changes! I am happy to see address data being improved. I added all addresses in Orange County from chapelhillopendata.org earlier this year, which resulted in some inaccurate addresses being created here and there. I have managed to fix most addresses, but some inaccurate ones still exist.

By the way, we are currently planning an import of every address in Miami-Dade County. This would add every missing address as a point. If you have any suggestions or things you would like to see in an address import here, let me know!

Use the tags payment:debit_cards=no, payment:electronic_purses=no, and payment:credit_cards=no.
Also, use the tag payment:cash=yes.

I contacted the talk-us mailing list about this to change the tags back to "United States Postal Service", as well as to add operator:wikidata to all post boxes. People have mixed opinions about expanding the operator or not, with generally more support for "United States Postal Service" than for "USPS".
