It took me quite a while (since May!) to start working on this one, but when I finally did it went pretty fast. The most difficult part was deciphering the notes and staring at the Yahoo Sat image - forget the eyes, but my neck...

The thing about Lisbon is that the Zoo is now the best mapped area in the whole city - I was surprised that there are so few buildings marked. Or is it just my rendering?

One sunny, although pretty cold, Friday morning not that long ago, one grabbed a pencil and a piece of paper and went straight to a zoo (a couple more times and we'll call it addiction).

Poznań is the only city in Poland and probably one of the few cities in the world that has two zoological gardens: the Old Zoological Garden and the New Zoological Garden. I picked the first one (for now) as it is much smaller and situated in the city centre, so you don't need to walk miles.

A curious detail: the Old ZOO is the third oldest in this country.

The zoo is fully mapped, but there are still a few things that need to be amended. Tomorrow I'll think of some way...

It's been a bad day... Autumn sucks...

Warsaw ZOO - finally finished mapping it. It took more time than I thought it would; probably the problem was that during my first visit I was taking photos instead of notes;) Even if there were maps they were far too general to be helpful.

The second visit was much more successful. The result is satisfying, although there were a few problems concerning tagging - still have no idea how to tag a place where deers take their food from...

It was fun!
