There is a missing active freight rail spur that reaches into the Dshanim factory which is not shown in the map. It has existed for at least 40 years. It branches out from the existing railway between mahlef mevo carmel and mahlef hahistadrut and passes north of the oil refinery (with a spur into the refinery too) then curves around into the Dshanim plant. The spur also includes a level crossing on hahistadrut blvd.
