159132735 | 9 months ago | I'm not sure if its different where you live but here the standard for three way T intersections is not the "pencil-tip" style. I've changed it here: https://osmcha.org/changesets/159153679 |
157923429 | 9 months ago | Just a reminder: remember to remove the turn restrictions when deleting the segment. Anyhow, I've gone ahead and fixed it when I was editing in this area. |
157864868 | 10 months ago | Thanks for your insight CjMalone. On another note, in my years of editing you're the first to do what you did. It would not be a streach for me to have jumped to that conclusion. |
157854982 | 10 months ago | There is no confusion here. Thanks for asking though. |
157864868 | 10 months ago | Also, I don't appreciate that the first thing you decided to do was scan through my changesets, in "retaliation", for me inquiring the method of how you got the hours for 50 locations. I was more curious about the process, if it was automated, scraping tools were involved, or was manually done, etc but you seemly took it the wrong way. |
157854982 | 10 months ago | Hi, the opening hours for this POI can be found on the website. Hope this helps. |
157864868 | 10 months ago | Did you use a scraping program? I'm just curious. I know that theres a project called All the Places that does something similar. |
157864868 | 10 months ago | Where is this data processed? Is it part of an existing project? The source is very vague. |
157817242 | 10 months ago | Welcome back after a year of hiatus! Anyhow, what strategies are you using to figure out all these new developments or demolitions in your last few edits? |
157195642 | 10 months ago | Hi, just letting you know this road doesn't have any cycleways and the tag you used would be invalid as the shoulder is used for parking. I've made an edit to correct it. |
157622115 | 10 months ago | Hi, it looks like you deleted the hotel node 2332315947 even though the hotel still exists at this location. Just letting you know incase this may have been a mistake. Also consider reading up on this: osm.wiki/Changeset#Geographical_size_of_changesets For just modifying two POIs across such a vast distance, it shouold be two changesets. |
157599265 | 10 months ago | Added POI osm.org/node/12233743407 |
157516040 | 10 months ago | Try and keep the changeset in a smaller area. I see you edited a track up north creating the large bbox. Also, when adding buildings make sure to combine the address node with the building. (Select both and press C) |
157234779 | 10 months ago | Looks like a bot took care of it but make sure to format the website url |
157497054 | 10 months ago | Also, not to blow the air out of your sails but the State of Tennessee does have an open data portal for GIS address data. So, while it might take a bit of time to import every TN address into OSM it would be the most efficient way. Although this would require experienced mappers to jumpstart the project. The best use of your time is to properly trace buildings (most quickly done with JOSM if you are so inclined). I really hope you aren't just going in after and using Google Street View to add the addresses. |
157497054 | 10 months ago | Hi, looking through theses edits I see no tangible benefits in creating these "template" buildings as you call it. (You also name every changeset exactly the same, but thats another topic) The buildings you added do not reflect what is on the ground and it would not save you any time as apposed to drawing them proper from the start or just using Rapid editor for rough AI building traces. If you so desire to contiunue this practice please consider using JOSM and making these edits to a saved .osm file and uploading them once you add all the details. |

153016492 | about 1 year ago | Hi, please be aware that the altname, altname2, altname3 tags are not valid. Consider using alt_name. As for this place I don't believe an alternative name is necessary at all. |
152783531 | about 1 year ago | Is there a reason why this pond is named "F"? |
149756390 | about 1 year ago | Would it be better to keep this building but use the lifecycle prefix for the tags? You can still clearly see the base of the building even on foot. At least until this area gets developed a few decades later it can be deleted properly. |
