Hi, please do not tag sections of road linking to roundabouts as "highway=secondary_link". Just use "highway=secondary" in future.

Are you absolutely sure this is the A331? Why does it dead-end here?

Hi, when changing maxspeed tags, be sure to a) check you're using miles per hour in your tags, and b) ensure you remove maxspeed:type tags that do not fit the new maxspeed tag you are applying

Hi. The tag "maxspeed:type=numeric" is not a correct tag in the UK. Please consult the wiki for correct tagging: osm.wiki/Key:maxspeed:type

Indeed, the tags here were already correct. I am reverting this.

Are you sure these roads are 60mph (National Speed Limit)? They look built up in places, particularly at the northern end.

153801312 about 1 year ago

1) It would be beneficial to leave as there is no way of determining whether this is 50mph or NSL due to lack of signage at either end. Likely NSL, but needs confirmation from the council.
2) This is more likely a missing case of NSL repeaters, as I remember there being no speed limit signs around the roundabout on the A24. Again, this likely needs contact to the council about missing signs rather than assuming it is 30mph.
3) This is incorrect. The A24 is a dual carriageway throughout, despite the large gap between the carriageways. The 60mph signs (not NSL) southbound confirm this, as do multiple blue circular arrow signs with a plate reading "Dual carriageway"

Thank you for going through these. I thought it disruptive.

This is not a dual carriageway. Do not split ways like this please.

As much as this is nice information, are you sure this can be added given it's a system that has long been removed?

153968860 about 1 year ago

Best to check what each answer to that quest actually does, might help you with determining which one to pick.

Are you sure this road is 60 mph?

148010081 about 1 year ago

That refers to proper dual carriageways, whereas in this case the road is just separated by traffic islands

153968472 about 1 year ago

I already fixed the tags here

153718007 about 1 year ago

Are you sure the signs are not incorrect or out of date? Do not trust signs alone. It is highly unlikely this road is trunk to the city centre when the M6 bypassed the city decades ago. I am reverting this for now unless proven otherwise.

You clicked the 30 mph ZONE option, not a 30 mph speed limit. 30 mph zones do not exist in the UK

153968472 about 1 year ago

I already did, and they added a "are you sure?" popup when adding a 30 mph zone. Did you see it?

maxspeed:type=construction is not a valid tag

153968472 about 1 year ago

Hi, 'maxspeed:type=GB:zone30' is not a valid tag. If the road is lit and has a 30 mph speed limit, use 'maxspeed:type=GB:nsl_restricted'. If the road is unlit and has a 30 mph speed limit, use 'maxspeed:type=sign'

A reminder that 'maxspeed:type=GB:zone30' is not a valid tag
