154882805 | 9 months ago | I have updated the speed limits on the A9. There are multiple stretches on the road where signs explicitly state a speed limit of 50mph for HGVs. |
147219667 | 9 months ago | Are you sure the old A303 route is now called "Old Sparkford Road" officially, and the new dual carriageway is called "Sparkford Road"? |
158626583 | 9 months ago | Please do not do this. The road layout was as it should be already. |
158315171 | 9 months ago | Please remember to change maxspeed:type tags when changing maxspeed tags |
158550252 | 9 months ago | The tag "maxspeed:type=GB:zone30" is not valid. Please see the wiki page for valid tags: osm.wiki/Key:maxspeed:type#United_Kingdom |
153830122 | 9 months ago | It looks like these speed limits might be in km/h. If so, did you convert them to mph, and why? |
157462400 | 10 months ago | Incorrect how? This was changed to 40 recently. I drove the road myself |
157632980 | 10 months ago | I didn't think to look at the shop name when visiting today, but they definitely have a sizable selection of both books and music here. |
154564772 | 10 months ago | The prohibition of these users is already implied with the tag "highway=motorway" |
157598873 | 10 months ago | Only where there could be confusion around whether the road is oneway or twoway, for example here osm.org/way/354333344#map=19/50.925942/-1.438152 |
157598873 | 10 months ago | Hi. Please don't tag every single road with a "oneway=no" tag, as this is unnecessary with the tag already implied. Furthermore, speed limits on public roads do not extend to private driveways, so please do not mark driveways with "maxspeed=30 mph" or "maxspeed=60 mph" |
157632980 | 10 months ago | No, also books |
157555456 | 10 months ago | Just FYI, the correct tag is "maxspeed:type=sign", not "maxspeed:type=GB:sign" |
157203381 | 10 months ago | I understand you used StreetComplete, but to gain a better understanding of the tags that are applied when selecting different options in the app, the wiki page explains all tags and their accompaniments. |
157203381 | 10 months ago | That is not the case. Please look at the wiki page to see where to use "maxspeed:type=" tags |
157203381 | 10 months ago | That must be another case you answered then, as that's different. If you saw a 30 repeater sign then the road must be unlit. If not, then there should be no repeater signs, as per the wiki page. |
157203381 | 10 months ago | Yes, and the app applies tags based on what you answer. You must have answered that this is a zone speed limit of 30mph - that does not exist in the UK, only 20 zones and 40 zones do (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:UK_traffic_sign_674.svg) |
157203381 | 10 months ago | Please see how to correctly tag speed limit types: osm.wiki/Key:maxspeed:type#United_Kingdom |
157293363 | 10 months ago | Please remember to change the maxspeed:type tag when changing the maxspeed tag |
150393769 | 11 months ago | The tagging of highways here was a mess, as links at junctions in the UK are mainly the status of the lower class road, except for slip roads. If you feel some of these should be secondary or tertiary links please change, I only saw this briefly as I was making other unrelated edits. and had to fix it. |
