19189310 | over 1 year ago | Undoubtedly was a typo and should have been barrier=gate. |
94127190 | almost 3 years ago | Or perhaps, now that I load that area, you are referring to the missing "direction" tags on the stop signs. When I mapped this (almost two years ago) I didn't know about that tag. It does need to be added to most of those signs. |
94127190 | almost 3 years ago | I can't tell which intersection you are referring to. |
123726357 | about 3 years ago | Yes, it was torn down at the end of 2021. See, e.g., https://reverejournal.com/2021/10/20/the-end-of-an-era-in-revere/. Bing does say copyright 2022, but the imagery actually seems to be from 2021 in that area. |
123726357 | about 3 years ago | I think you have just recreated the Showcase Cinemas on Squire Road in Revere that are being torn down. As far as I know, aerial imagery showing the new construction is not available yet. |
121915084 | about 3 years ago | Thanks, I've fixed it. |
65673016 | over 6 years ago | Fixed, thank you. |
61974569 | almost 7 years ago | 138 and 140 Altamo(u)nt are interesting. They are physically located in Saugus (where the street is called "Altamount") but have Melrose addresses (where the street is called "Altamont"). USPS standardizes their addresses to Altamont (no "u") so perhaps that's what we should revert them to? This is another case where an 'alt_addr:street' key would be useful... |
36473872 | about 7 years ago | Yes, the latter. |
36473872 | about 7 years ago | I don't believe so, for two reasons: 1) If you type in such an address into the USPS zip code lookup (https://tools.usps.com/zip-code-lookup.htm?byaddress), it standardizes the address to just "Woodcrest". 2) Melrose's assessor's database (http://melrose.patriotproperties.com/default.asp) shows all of these addresses just as "Woodcrest". |
61349270 | about 7 years ago | Understood, thanks. |
61349270 | about 7 years ago | It is my understanding that historical features such as 400-year old coastlines are not appropriate in OpenStreetMap (see osm.wiki/Good_practice#Don.27t_map_historic_events_and_historic_features). You might want to add them to http://openhistoricalmap.org |
61153745 | about 7 years ago | (For houses on Lowell Street) |
61153745 | about 7 years ago | "Somerville" is spelled with a single "m" |
60601403 | about 7 years ago | This is not Oakwood Lane, it is just a service entrance to the high school. Oakwood Lane is already on the map, just to the east. |
59842042 | about 7 years ago | This is not Woodland Road; it is just a service road for the medical complex. |
60173157 | about 7 years ago | This is not Nason Drive. That street is already on the map a block north and leads to the Melrose Housing Authority's Julian Steele House. |
59842573 | about 7 years ago | I'm curious where this name is coming from. The source URL you provided is invalid. This is a private driveway for 197 Nahant Street, Wakefield, MA. There is no road sign at the end of it. According to the official Wakefield Assessor's database (http://wakefield.patriotproperties.com/default.asp) there is no Dean Road. |
59327246 | about 7 years ago | Please explain your reasoning behind deleting Lincoln Park. While part of school property, this playing field facility is referred to by this name. |
58835399 | over 7 years ago | This is vandalism and was reverted. |
