Ο οικισμός Κουφό Βουνό, ενώ μεν βρίσκεται σε αυτή την περιοχή, δεν έχω βρει κάποιο επίσημο στοιχείο που να δηλώσει την ακριβή θέση του. Το σημείο όπου αναφέρεται τώρα στο OSM είναι στρατόπεδο, οπότε θεωρώ απίθανο να αναγνωρίζεται ως οικισμός το στρατόπεδο. Λαμβάνουμε υπόψη και τον πληθυσμό του οικισμού (κάπου 162 με την απογραφή). Παρακαλείται όποιος βρίσκεται στην ευρύτερη περιοχή ή στην Μυτιλήνη, να ρωτήσει οποιουσδήποτε, μπας και εξακριβωθεί το σημείο.
