The previous limits of Quebec province in golf of saint-lawrence did correspond to what is published by the Governement of Quebec. What is your source to modify the limits as you did ?

Thanks to contribute to OSM. You seem to be a relative new contributor. I suggest you stop to revert modification like this and first start to better know OSM.

You made modification to this hydropower infrastructure deleting existing info / recreating with two unnecessary relations with no good comment about your modifications and without prior contacting the previous contributor.

Before you revise major infrastructures, asssure you know well osm tagging for these infrastrutures, Also discuss with contributors before you modify.

Je n'avais pas bien regardé l'historique. Les deux chemins existaient et tu as simplement édité. Je ne vais conserver que le premier créé et reprendre la forme en zigzag du second qui correspond davantage au trajet.

I just finished editing coastlines for ile aux Grues and other islands. A problem with coastline is some inertia in the update. This is not instantaneous like other edits. And in the meantime many edits adding to the problem.

As discussed on comment for #72016803, Sain-Laurent Estuary has 3 sections. Relations for these 3 sections plus an overlap that cover the entire Estuary did work for years. This is not the problem. Islands rendering is done with natural=coastline in Saint-Laurent River. Many modifications recently, including removing, adding natural=coastline did create the problem.

Your modification in this changeset just added to the problem and did not fix Chemin : Île aux Oies (50751614) since the tag natural=coastline had been previously removed.

I will revert your modification re-creating the relations has before and correct the coastline.

While trying to correct problems in this area, you created more problems removing natural=coastline. Note that Saint-Laurent River is part of the coastline and both the coast and the islands should have this tag. Some of your modifications have been corrected by other mappers. I will assure that the others are corrected.

I suggest that you first practice in less complex areas before trying to fix problems with ways an relations in such areas.

The St-Laurent Estuary is well documented with 3 sections having different characteristics. We for years both the relation for the complete estuary and the relations for each of the 3 sections working well with no islands lost. My edit recently was also to correct lost islands following some recent edits. I will look for overlaps.

vs suggestion de déplacer tracé de la chaussée. Si pour chaussée d'approche au pont, ont peut oui déplacer. Cependant pour le pont, Étant donné que deux structures différentes, je crois qu'il vaut mieux utiliser le nouveau tracé pont Samuel de Champlain (actuellement construction=highway) plutot que de déplacer info ancien pont.

Il y a toujours des imprévus possibles lors de telles opérations. Si cela arrivait, ir ser4ait toujours possible de recréer les anciens tracés à partir de Overpass.

Nous nous coordonnons sur liste talk-ca pour révisions pont Champlain. J'ai effectué des modfications hier et aujourd'hui. Et il est prévu qu'un autre contributeur modifie les relations d'autobus. Entretemps vous etes intervenus et effacé les voies de l'ancien pont Champlain. Ces infos peuvent encore servir. Svp, recreerr, et venez discuter avant de faire d'autres modifications.

On doit Éviter de couvrir de grandes régions dans une meme Session d'édition OSM (ici Montréal + Vermont + Colombie-Britannique). Il faudrait aussi mieux documenter les POI que tu as ajouté
