The wiki doesn't give a hard and fast definition of what should be a city and what should be a town, but seems to say that it's based more on what the local area is like. Spearfish is, believe it or not, the 10th largest city in South Dakota, and it's the 2nd most important city after Rapid in the greater Black Hills area.

It's one of the primary cities in the area. I based it on the relative importance to the local area more than population; that's why Gillette was also labeled a city.

My general rule is to stick business interstates as primary based on the route marker. However, feel free to change it if you have more immediate knowledge (which it sounds like you do).

It was probably due to large inaccuracy in the node placement (and the fact that it wasn't a publicly accessible road); at that point it almost becomes easier to delete and replace.

I don't know, it's a bypass type road, and bypass type roads are usually trunk.

I'm working on the two-lanes; but I think the 36 (Pony Express Highway) should stay because other maps (Rand McNally, MapQuest, etc.) have it as freeway.
