I don't think there exists any cycle parkings in Guarapari, if I ever find one, I'll make sure to enter it into OSM.
Audio mapping doesn't sound that bad, at least I can hear from the tape when I passed a speed bump in too high speed...... That is by the way something more I need to enter into OSM....

gps accuracy dropping from here on out?

I have no fear that one selective system, whether GPS, GLONAS, the upcoming Galileo, or any other high-accuracy system will fail entirely, as there are a growing number of such systems. What is more worrying is that cosmic interference will render all satellite systems (including SBAS corrections) useless without anybody noticing. Backup correction systems such as IALA and HF/MF RTCM corrections should be more available for both small units and car navigation units, as these can discover athmospheric disturbances and transmit corrections to the units in order to either reject unhealthy satellites or correct the error that occures. The systems I use actively at work are often dual system DPS units (They avoid calling it GPS as some of this units actually do not use GPS at all) with up to 8 different independent correction systems.
I hope that I will be able to build my own car navigation system soon, and will try to make it use all three satellite systems and as many correction systems I can use without paying expensive licenses.

Renting a car again

My wife does not agree in that department, when I stroll off some unknown road, or experiment a different route, than I am spending fuel for nothing, or are putting us all in danger, or we are getting lost. That I can backtrack us on the GPS, or actually arrive safely at destination is not a valid argument. Hope it get better when I can install a street navigator with OSM maps in our (future) car so that she can see with her own eyes the benefit of the surveyed data.

Que chave voce usar para marcar edificio's e casas? Não sei como vai marcar endrecos ainda.

Why Not?

One of the reasons that I want to make a new program is to build something from scratch, besides I have little experience in Java development, and therefor have little to input into JOSM. I must use the languages I master and the tools I have available before venturing into other languages, though I might stumble over things I can offer to the existing programs as patches.

Santa Mariana, Paraná, Brazil

Great, going back to ES on Sunday, at the moment working in Niteroi. Register on the Wiki and the mailing list, help the community grow.

Why Not?

Unfortunately I had to restrict edits to registered users only, administrating my wiki to keep away all the spam and false edits became a full time job, and since I am administrating it alone it becomes too much work. I'd like to have time to do OSM also :D
But no worries, I'll let anybody register, and only spammers are blocked.

Santa Mariana, Paraná, Brazil

I am glad to see more people helping out, Brazil is a big 'place', and it will take a lot of work getting every place on the map. I am mostly mapping in Espírito Santo.

Using N95 as a tracker

Thanks for the advice, I have been looking for some useful way to track and route with my N95 since my eTrex doesn't support maps.
