If a lane is not physically separate it should not be a separate way.

It does send emails but lots of people don't monitor their emails.
I was referring to the notification by the profile picture in osm.org

I reached out to them via private message since they don't read or respond to changeset comments.
I wish changeset comments notified users similar to unread private messages.

Apologies. It seems I was mistaken on the extent needed to count as seperation. I've added change:lanes tags and aligned the way with the center of the lanes.

The lanes are separated from each other. There is no requirement for a curb separation.
