Hey I saw that you added some houses here. Could you please make them rectangular next time? That is probably more likely to be the reality ;)

Hey, thanks for helping us with cleaning up the TIGER data in Texas.

You added some highway=road here. It's probably better to mark them as highway=unclassified or highway=service.

I changed some of them.

Have fun mapping!

Welcome to OpenStreetMap.

Great edits :)

Thanks for adding sidewalks. But maybe it's easier to mark streets where no pedestrians are allowed. And imply that all residential streets have sidewalks. Only sidewalks connected to streets are used by routing engines.

Have a look at this example: osm.org/directions?engine=mapzen_foot&route=39.02351%2C-77.01632%3B39.02280%2C-77.01781#map=18/39.02306/-77.01573

Just answer on this comment if you have any questions.

Welcome to OSM,

I changed the ponds you added here. Maybe have a look at them again now. They should be mapped as an closed area.

51398032 almost 8 years ago

That is not an industrial area? Why did you added something here?

50142958 almost 8 years ago

I've changed some streets at 35th Street/Aurora Avenue, which would fix the problem.

Have a look at some cool sites, where your changes will appear: https://www.reddit.com/r/openstreetmap/comments/6isju5/openstreetmap_websitesapps_to_share/

Hey,

I saw you added a lot of sidewalks here. But can you please connect them with the streets? Else they are useless for routing. See this example:

osm.org/directions?engine=mapzen_foot&route=40.00321%2C-105.25164%3B40.00519%2C-105.25039#map=18/40.00397/-105.25107

Can you tell me, what you have added here? Those are not parks.

43809275 about 8 years ago

Hey,

I saw your mapping here and wanted to ask you, if you can connect those footways a little bit better. Those footways can not be used for routing because they are not connected.
Here an extreme example: osm.org/directions?engine=mapzen_foot&route=40.04933%2C-105.03150%3B40.05005%2C-105.03426#map=18/40.04959/-105.03197

No problem, that why I am sometimes looking for new mappers. Maybe have a look east of Deer Creek 2nd Park, I will change it there as an example for you.

Your changes will appear on a lot of different OSM-based websites. Have a look here to see some cool examples:

Ah okay. Then the tagging is correct. :)

Welcome to OSM,

if you see buildings that are rectangular in real life but not in OSM. Just make them rectangular by pressing "s" in your editor. Also footways should always be connected to other roads otherwise navigation/routing will not be possible.

50825466 about 8 years ago

Are those footways in the Rum River North County Park? Maybe they are better tagged with highway=track, they look like you could drive on them.

Welcome to OpenStreetMap,

I saw some of oyur changesets in this area and just wanted to ask you to please connect footways with streets, when they are crossing. Else there will be no routing possible. Maybe also have a look on upper and lower case in name tags.

Have fun mapping.

OSM is not for testing. Please only add real data and informations.

It always make me smile when I find your perfect edits in areas, where nearly nothing is mapped.

Very cool alignment here! Thanks for the work on West Virginia :)

You created a lot of forests here. That doesn't look correct compared with the satellite imagery. Was this an import?

47243961 about 8 years ago

You added a lot of forests in this area. But those are often just single trees. Maybe change the areas to trees or delete the whole landuse because that's not the correct tagging.
