Well, after a fair old break in my mapping, i've added a few more roads round Crowborough (East Sussex).
Added in the B2188 from over Ashdown Forest, all the way down to Groombridge, plus a couple of roads in the St John's area of Crowborough.
As I was driving and don't have any cunning voice recording setup I had to rely on my memory for the road names. I think I got most of them, but i'm not too sure on the names of bits of the B2188 over towards Groombridge. I'll have to recheck them next time i'm down.

Happened to be in Elvetham Heath yesterday (doing some voluntary stuff in the nature reserve in a cunning work scheme to get a day out of the office), and had noticed previously that it was basically missing. (Someone had very helpfully added exactly the road I was looking for however)
So, arriving a little early, I got a few more traces for some of the streets.
Unfortunately I had forgotten to recharge my batteries or to bring a pen, so I could only add a few streets and couldn't note any of the names. Damn! :(
Anyway, at least Elvetham Heath Way now connected between the A323 and A3013.
When I can be bothered, i'll have to head down there again one evening after work and do a bit more.
OK, had to drive into work this morning, so I took the opportunity to get some traces round and about Farnborough (Hampshire).
Mostly driving round odd bits of housing estates in the Southwood area near my office.
Will have to wander out with my notebook and jot down the street names that I can't remember over the next couple of days.
Also did a few roads in the industrial estate off Morden Road, South Wimbledon on my way home.
OK, i've been a bit lazy w.r.t. mapping recently, but as I was down visiting the folks I thought i'd better do a bit more of Crowborough.
Not a huge amount, but i'm doing it on foot so I can get street names, post boxes, pubs etc down.
So, this time I walked Poundfield Road, plus all the 'Beeches' roads etc off Old Lane.
Well, just got back from my hols in France, and I got GPS traces of all the streets in the little village of Goulles (which is in the Limousin region), a little way south of Argentat (which is on the Dordogne).
I also noted all the street names that I could find, and so i've entered them into OSM.
OSM now has a better map of Goulles than Google. :)
As the weather was good this morning, I went out a mapped a bit more of South Wimbledon.
This time it was roads south of Merton High Street, bounded by Morden Road to the West, the river Wandle to the East, and Merantun Way to the South.
The roads have all been marked up, so hopefully i'll see them in the next day or so (although still waiting for my last set to be rendered, so maybe there were some problems over the weekend).
Next job I think will be to put Morden Road in. It's a bit of a nightmare where the A24 splits off and goes East (along Merantun Way), leaving the A219 to continue North. Lots of one-way bits and weird junctions. Fun fun fun! :)
OK, the rain held off long enough for me to finish off my track logs of South Wimbledon south of Kingston Road (bounded by the Tram line and Morden Road).
Well ish. Damn batteries died again. :(
Well, having gone out a number of weeks ago and got lovely GPS tracklogs of all the streets between Wimbledon Mainline and South Wimbledon stations, only to find someone had beaten me to it (although there's a couple of little roads missed, and no pubs or anything marked), I thought i'd best get on with some other bits round South Wimbledon.
Started walking the roads south of Kingston Road, bounded by Morden Road on the East, and the Tram line on the West.
Batteries died on me (D'oh!), so I had to stop half way, but will try and finish it off this weekend (weather permitting).
Not sure how to mark up the Emergency Access Gates on some of the roads though.
Guess i'll have to see what someone else has done and just copy that (although that will require getting going with JOSM, rather than Potlatch which i've been using so far (but then I need to do that anyway, coz Potlatch doesn't allow me to do everything I want)).
Well I was back visiting the folks the other weekend, and actually remembered my GPS, so I thought i'd make a start on mapping Crowborough, as it's pretty much empty (appart from the A26 going through it).
Got a fair bit done, and marked up the roads I can remember the names of. Might have the points where some of them change names slightly wrong, but I can fix that on further visits.
Need a few more visits to expand on all the other housing estates, and mark positions of things like pubs, postboxes and churches.
