while this road might be showing up on Council maps it is not navigable by vehicular traffic and needs to be Marked as such so that the GPS will not use it for navigation

right turn onto Berwick-Cranbourne Road forbidden

Central Rd Drysdale is a narrow, hilly road with blind crests and no proper footpath. In recent years its traffic has increased exponentially due to large residential housing developments on both sides, and construction of a retirement village five years ago. Geelong Council leaves improvements to infrastructure to developers which results in piecemeal improvement or nothing. Elderly/frail people, some using mobility aids, parents with prams and children on bikes are all put at risk every day.
