132477529 | over 2 years ago | Hello Jhowie, is it possible you removed a part the existing cycleway? -> see also this note: osm.org/note/3557423#map=18/50.85036/4.33710&layers=N |

130509818 | over 2 years ago | Hello Andy, Thanks for your answer and no problem to continue in English. I would like to inform you about the following: 1) The cycle highways-network set up by the Flemish provinces are actually routes (like e.g. the recreational cycle node network). Information about routes are mapped in OSM as "relations".
A cycle path itself does not in principle have a name unless there is a street name sign on the field. Can you confirm that there are streetname signs on these cycle pahts? if so, can you add the name then? 2) In 2021, the Belgian OSM community in consultation with the Flemish provinces set up a data model around the mapping of cycle highway relationships: osm.wiki/Tag:cycle_network%3DBE-VLG:cycle_highway For the years 2022 and 2023, the provinces have placed a paid assignment with OSM Belgium to keep the cycle highway data in OSM (both the ways/infrastructure and the relation) up to date. This is important because they reuse the data for the cycle route planner on fietssnelwegen.be. We also regularly receive data for this directly from the provinces that is not yet on their website. 3) If there are any further questions, I suggest that you attend OSM BE's chat group around cycle highways -> https://matrix.to/#/#osmbe-cyclenetworks:matrix.org Best regards, Thierry |
130509818 | over 2 years ago | Beste Der Bierpuncher, Mag ik vragen wat uw bron en motivering is om aan de paden tussen Zaventem en Nossegem de naam 'F3' toe te voegen? Alvast bedankt voor het antwoord. |
129685237 | over 2 years ago | I just added it to 'fixmystreet.brussels'.

129756612 | over 2 years ago | OK! Btw, are you on matrix chat?
|
129756612 | over 2 years ago | thanks! here it's added: osm.org/node/5913715511 If you see similar things in the future, you may add it yourself! :-) |
129685237 | over 2 years ago | Great news! 2 weeks ago Visit Brussels organised a gathering to thank the volunteers who helped checking the signs. Based on the remarks a company would still adapt or put new signs if possible. By principle the "job" should be finished by now. |
