Uh, another mass deletion :-(

Please, please, please. If you see "lines" drawed on the map that you don't know, try to ask to the user what they mean.

Hello.
Sorry, could you explain why you have deleted 3 landuse relations?

111354947 over 3 years ago

Not so better, as you deleted a landuse relation osm.org/relation/11761381

Hello Nathan,
please, when you draw the building, don't follow the roof position; try to guess where actually are positioned on the ground. A tall building, when a satellite image it's not perfectly vertical, could get shifted di several meters. In Mogadishu someone have shifted the roads to fit the buildings. Now I'm try to fix a lot of things

Hello Adelide,
please, don't draw the building aligning them to the roof.
Satellite photos are not taken exactly vertically to the buildings.
This big building (shifted now by me) osm.org/way/1012740475 fallen in the middle of a big roundabout: try to ask to yourself: "why the building and the roads should be in the same position?"

Hello,
may I suggest some changes to this road? osm.org/way/975683607

name is used only when the road has an official name. I'd use surface=ground to show this information.

Also, footway=sidewalk is used in different scenarios

EN version:
Hello,
please, be aware in that area landuse/landcover is organized in relations. If you add/modify it, you should deal with the relation (adding the new member or moving its border).
Thank you

Versione IT:
Ciao,
Volevo avvisarti che in quella zona abbiamo mappato il landuse/landcover utilizzando le relazioni. Se aggiungi o modifichi il terreno, dovresti gestire la relazione (inserendo i nuovi membri o spostando i suoi confini).
Grazie

Hello,
sorry, why you deleted the military area's relation? That was meant to divide the surface where the military and UN personnel can go. Not to mention the other, questionable, changes you did. I expect you'll do the same to the Pisa airport osm.org/relation/5827108
In general, I don't go in Europe to change things like that without ask to the local community. We expect the same, Italy is not an inhabited land and an OSM community exist.

Hello again Chris,
I must apologize for my hurried considerations.
Indeed the problems came from the former user who worked on this area one week ago.
I'm not going to revert any action, as the stratified operations couldn't be solved easily with a revert, but I'll do it manually.
Again, please accept my apologies.

Hi Chris. Simply selecting that way on JOSM you can see now it belongs to 5 landuse/landcover relations.
As your changeset is just limited to a small area I'm going to revert it.

Please, be aware the UN Mappers team ( osm.wiki/Unite_Maps_Initiative/UN_Mappers ) is working on several African Countries, mapping all kind of features we can discover by satellite images (and from few Local Communities), especially the landuse/landcover. On this special kind of features we use relations.

Hello, I'm Alessandro and I work with Mariateresa on this African United Nation leaded campaigns.

You're right, sorry we don't have fixed this odd situation yet. Basically two mappers worked in theirs bounding boxes without any communication. Now, fortunately, we improved the discussion in our group, but still some area like this one still exist. Thanks so much for having pointed.
Feel free to contact us if you notice strange things :-)

Hello,
Please, be careful when mapping in already dense mapped areas. Many relations have been broken.

Just as an example, this way osm.org/way/892829659 was formerly composed by 3 different ways; it was probably joined so now it belongs to 6 different landuse relations.
Is much appreciated your work, but please, before editing check if the geometries belongs to some relations.

From the satellite image you can see there's a oneway street?

I don't think in a small city there's a Marriot Hotel with 150 rooms, not even present on their official website.
I'll send a notification to the DWG

If you find funny defacing a map used also by NGOs and the Blue Hats, I suggest you to play with something different

Hello,
in this changeset something went wrong: a road already on the map was cloned 5 times.

Please, check this road osm.org/go/wiIKbMZzm?m=

Hello,
please could you explain why you have worsen the map?
It could be reasonable if form a way you should have drawn an area, but from an area to a way is odd.

Bonjour, j'ai retrouvé cette relation, composée de nombreux bâtiments, mais sans clés ni valeurs dans la relation. Je pense qu'il pourrait être annulé. Désolé pour le mauvais français.

Hello Hebolz.
Thanks for your contribution in North Kivu.

I have seen you added some residential areas.
Please notice, in many African Countries we (UN Mappers osm.wiki/Unite_Maps_Initiative/UN_Mappers ) have started to map landuse/landcover. To do so, we use multipolygon relations. So if you notice a dense mapping activity, it is possible there are some relation there. So, please, if you find a relation, please try to add the landuse/landcover as member of the relation.
