Hello Will,
I was under the impression that the relation was indeed missing a piece since the section I added still has the ref 'CA 2', but it seems I need to do better research, my mistake. Should I revert my changeset and replace the ref with old_ref?
Regards,
Vas

Hello,
The correct way to tag the variable speed limit is maxspeed:conditional=20 mph @ flashing, not the other way around.

Hello there,
Can you provide a source for this landmass?

Hello,
I see you have been tagging footway areas as area=yes + highway=pedestrian. This isn't correct as that combination is for larger, non-linear pedestrian areas such as Castlegate or St Nicholas Square. You should instead tag the area around the already drawn linear footway as area:highway=footway

However, make sure to not tag it as area=yes + highway=pedestrian as that is for large non-linear pedestrian areas, for example Castlegate

Hello,
You have made a slight mistake here: osm.org/relation/11296331/history
If you want to map a footway as an area you should draw the line the footway follows and tag it highway=footway as usual, then draw the area around it and simply tag it as area:highway=footway.

From the wiki:
"access=no, as any other access=* value may be overridden by more specific access tags."
It is easier to put access=no and specify the exceptions in this case and is a completely valid way of mapping.

153503366 about 1 year ago

You removed access=no but didn't add motor_vehicle=no which makes the other access tags invalid. Also 'psv' includes 'bus' and 'taxi'.

This section of bridge street is open to all motor vehicles going south, just leave the northbound bus gate lane at the traffic lights as it preserves the access restriction.

153503435 about 1 year ago

Hello, why is access=no incorrect? The street is under construction and I specified the allowed vehicle classes.

Hello,
Could I know why you tagged the A90 dual carriageway as foot=no? There's no restriction as far as I know.

Why is this prohibited for pedestrians?

Hello,
osm.org/way/1257920978
This should be area:highway=footway, not area=yes + highway=pedestrian

Hello,
I am struggling to find a reason why this road would be prohibited for pedestrians. There are no signs stating that this is the case at any point

Здравствуйте, почему здесь highway=cycleway? Не вижу знаков велодорожки

I was once fooled by this as well, although iD does also show the implied values
