By looking at satellite imaginery, I see rocks on majority of them. There are no even roads to them. And in any case, 200 airports around a city with like 2km between them? o_O

Да, в name украинское название, причём обязательно по стандарту "Ювілейна вулиця" -- топоним в конце названия, полностью, без сокращений. name:en на самом деле будет транслитерировано, не стоит на него тратить время.

Что касается того, что в Potlach нету тегов, их нужно добавлять в режиме Advenced (Расширенный), но вообще рекомендую JOSM.

That is standard country-wide practice induced by the government. And there is no other way. Well, there are few exceptions when there are established English names for entities in Ukraine, but those are just couple of hundreds out of tens of thousands, and for those there are preventive means in the bot.

The main problem is that not many people can read Cyrillic, and all maps in Ukraine are just in that. For Euro 2012 there are plans to have maps in Latin alphabet, and instead of people transliterating the names each time manually, which is error-prone, I introduced this bot. Moreover, in one of subsequent passes I am going to fix the mess with bad transliterations (there are couple of home-grown substandards which are used sometimes).

So, this is in fine agreement with Ukrainian OSM gathering.

Ah, and to add a bit more to the reasoning, all commercial maps, both digital and on paper are using transliteration.

greencaps, yes, I mean the transliteration with proper use of 'Street' instead of 'vulytsya', and yes, that is _the_ official way for handling all names in Ukraine. Only few things like Crimea have their own English names and are not being transliterated into Krym or something similar. And as I mentioned, this is exactly what has been agreed by the Project Ukraine Agreement.

Of course, we are talking about the street and village/city names here, and not about entities like "Kharkiv Historical Museum" where I put proper English translations when I knew them.

...And also the Agreement-2009 is about using only full names for typology, i.e. Street, not str, улица, not ул. and putting them at the tail of the street name, that is "Красного милиционера улица" / 'Chervonoho Militsionera Street'

Zverik, no. At this moment Ukrainian are "name", Russian are "name:ru" and English are "name:en". Also as lyx suggested, I will copy "name" tag over to "name:uk: for the completeness sake.

У мене прохання, чи не могли б ви подивитись на нумерацію будинків у Кам’яній Ярузи (на схід по трасі М-03 від Рогані. Чи правильно там зроблені асоціації. І якщо так, то чи варто переробити Рогань, бо там я додавав вулицю до кожного будинку.

Про Комуніст, мені ще треба уточнити назву вулиці, тому там поки що тільки номери будинків.

Решту виправлю після іншого великого проекту -- приводжу до ладу назви вулиць у місті Харкові.
