Land of the Bowling Club has been sold to [1]. CCC granted permission in 2020 [2 (330)]. What is the current situation on-site? I will mark the area as landuse=construction for now.

Name varies between Ngātaki and Ngataki. Is the version with a macron preferred?

Gibt es hier wirklich einen so laufenden Durchgang? Die Treppe liegt wohl etwas weiter nördlich und führt erstmal nur zu den Terassen des Haus der ev. Kirche (?).

Did the name “Pic Mascarin” for Mount Taranaki ever see local (or any) usage? Apparently it was given by a French explorer who was killed shortly after. At this point it was already named “Mount Egmont” by Cook. Should we downgrade that name further to something like old_name:fr=* (or remove it)? The name seems hard to verify.

Reid's Pit is being restored as a reserve. Once the reserve opens the "landuse=quarry" + "disused=yes" tags as well as the "construction:" prefix for "leisure=park" should be removed.
