This is an 8 lane "Motorway" all the way from Parksville to Campbell River so I don't see why it is shown changing from a motorway to a "trunk Road" and back again.

The "confusion" on this highway may arise because they were too cheap to build overpasses and so, the speed limit is lowered from 110kmh to 90 kmh at MANY intersections like this one (Cook Creek) There are stoplights too with distant warning flashing ambers up the highway to warn of a red.

The Emily Carr Library has recently moved to the top floor of Uptown above Walmart, next to the Scotia bank near where Best Buy used to be.
