74561722 | almost 6 years ago | Hello. I'm guessing you are doing this as an SEO company on behalf of a client, right? (There is nothing wrong with that, but there are a couple of guidelines that you should be following.) Can you reply so that we can discuss this? Thanks. |
74513209 | almost 6 years ago | Does this consulting business actually exist at this location? The satellite imagery (which can be a few years old) for where the marker was placed shows it in the middle of a grove of trees. |
74369936 | almost 6 years ago | Reverted this change (osm.org/changeset/74371182) since it was made to an existing point in the middle of a road. If you want to create a point of interest for your business, you should drop a new point on top of your building, not in the middle of the road. |
74315381 | almost 6 years ago | Welcome to OSM @kepesk. If you ever have any questions about mapping and want to talk to a local mapper, I'm in the area and would be happy to help. Thanks for your contributions. |
74011463 | almost 6 years ago | Hi fellow Bryce, Are you familiar with this neighborhood? Does the park boundary really include private homes? That seems unusual, but not out of the realm of possibility. |
71771355 | almost 6 years ago | Hi there @asanad, I'm trying to track down a problem with building imports and a specific error that I've been seeing. Maybe you can help me with where you get your data. What is the gpx data file that you are using? Can you provide a link/source? The error I'm particularly interested in is around node osm.org/node/6581044967. See how the way goes in towards the middle of the house and then doubles back on itself and crosses over itself. I see this a lot and am trying to find the source of the errors. Any lead you can provide will be helpful. Thanks. |
67299214 | about 6 years ago | Thanks for letting me know of the issue. I've added a bug (https://gitlab.com/b-jazz/https_all_the_things/issues/10) to add checking for long descriptions before making a change. |
70971871 | about 6 years ago | As abbreviations aren't "allowed" in ways, I've changed "S Lafayette St" to "South Lafayette Street". |
70946988 | about 6 years ago | I'm not quite clear what you're saying as I had to run this through google translate. It sounds like you are debating some aspect of a node I recently changed. It might be helpful to know that I only changed the website and didn't create or change anything else. If you have an issue with another tag, you might want to look back in the history and find the person that created/changed the tag you are debating. |
71680195 | about 6 years ago | Is there any significance to breaking up the Big Bend WMA into those adjoining regions? Seems like it should be combined into larger areas, shouldn't it? |
71572325 | about 6 years ago | osm.org/node/4011537688 was moved by this change and that altered the boundary of the Arc Dome Wilderness Area, which now has an irregular shaped boundary that crosses over itself. I'm not sure what the proper way to fix this is since I don't know which boundary was more accurately placed. Do you?

72120925 | about 6 years ago | I don't do a lot with drawing roads and specifying lanes, but I'm pretty sure there should only be one way here instead of the three that go out to the street. The single way could specify the number of lanes and how many of them are in one direction and how many of them are in the reverse direction. |
71804558 | about 6 years ago | Way 700982938 is drawn in a way that it overlaps with itself and creates three areas. Is that what is intended? If so, the way needs to be drawn in such a way that it doesn't intersect itself. |
71995676 | about 6 years ago | I try to think of it like a navigation router would. It would look like an intersection at that point and you could have a choice of directions you could go. Clearly not the case with a slide where "down" is your only option. I've made it my mission to fix any ways in the US that cross over themselves improperly. So I find these all the time and do my best to fix them. The hardest are some of the crazy rollercoasters that are out there. Those keep me awake at night. :) |
71637129 | about 6 years ago | The correct category for this business is "Law Office". |
71475534 | about 6 years ago | Do you have any suggestions on how to identify "garbage data"? What if the bot didn't touch anything recently created in order to give a chance to anyone/anything cleaning up first? I doubt avoiding anything done based on frequency of additions in a short period or a certain type of object within the boundaries of another type would be very effective. (Looking for business inside a parking lot would catch this but would miss other edits considered "garbage".) Thanks for any additional feedback you can provide. |
71241439 | about 6 years ago | The address of this business doesn't match the nearby roads. Are you sure that this was placed correctly? |
71001114 | about 6 years ago | I'm jealous, but I fixed the rotation of the creek any way. ;-) |
71062762 | about 6 years ago | FYI, this changeset didn't actually do anything (it's empty), because the node was already gone when the bot came around to examine and delete it. |
71001114 | about 6 years ago | This is the node that broke things: osm.org/node/293838964 |
