mais les ajouts sur le rendu “carto” affiché par défaut sur osm.org sont toujours dépendant de la capacité des défenseurs de l’ajout à créer un PR et de la bonne volonté des mainteneurs principaux.

Il y a une discussion ouverte pour l’ajout d’un rendu spécifique des terrains de disc-golf sur le rendu par défaut “carto”: https://github.com/gravitystorm/openstreetmap-carto/issues/3766 , mais ça semble au point mort.

Sur le rendu Tracetracktopo, les sports sont plus détaillés, donc il serait peut-être plus facile d’y obtenir l’ajout de picto spécifique, mais je ne trouve pas comment faire une demande osm.org/#map=19/47.35229/5.02528&layers=P

I did a test (without sending the data) to import the opendata, it works fine.

I sent a request to the local community (https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-ca) to work further on an import.

I used to draw buildings with iD, but like @MatthiasMatthias i highly recommend to use JOSM if you want to trace a lot of them. It is so much faster and clean! Really worth the time you’ll spend to learn it

From this page, it is possible to import opendata from Montreal in OpenStreetMap.

The data for buildings does exist and you could use (with JOSM and its plugin OpenData) to bring them into OSM https://donnees.montreal.ca/dataset/batiment-2d

@woowoowoo “Bing’s failure to engage users in a community will see most users try it once or twice, and lose interest quickly.” I’m not sure to understand: did Microsoft already failed to create a community, or do you think they will not be able to?

Do they even need a community to divert contributors from OSM to their platform? Monopole on desktop OS, gamification and user-friendly tool might be enough? The “local mapper” from GoogleMap give free work to Alphabet, I’m not sure they are a community.
