@Nordøk: you have absolutely no edit, no comments etc. Are you even a mapper? As a newbie (welcome by the way), it might be smart of you to take time to learn how the OSM community works, before making assumption that the only way to contribute to the OSM project is editing the map.

It seems a really promising process. Do you have some illustrations for it?

Following the remark of Heinz_V, it would nice if you could extend your method to a check of the direction of already mapped streams.
Is the first point higher than the last, are the intermediate points in order of elevation? You’ll probably need to filter out the segments with a similar size than the resolution of the DEM

It’s good to have different patterns for the trails so it’s still distinguishable either if the map is printed in color or black&white.

@Zverik: I agree, maybe adding the forest area as a slightly darker would be enough (just make sur it’s still ok in b&w, maybe a dotted pattern would be better than a filled one)

I would also add an arrow to indicate the North as the map is rotated and a graphic scale.

If you used OSM data to create the map, you should probably credit it on the map.

Any idea of why France has so much more issues in the Atlas Check than the rest of the world?

Thank you to remind us of these importants issues. Providing low bandwith access should be in the to-do-list of every OSM online event.

It is also a relevant to lower our ecological impact.

und vielleicht auch ein Paragraph “Sie können auch mithelfen” mit informationen über Apps (StreetComplete, OSMGo, usw) und desktop Tools (iD)

Kennst du auch diese andere Flyers? Leider sind sie nicht mehr ganz aktuell (keine Apps dargestellt zB) osm.wiki/Flyers_and_posters/Flyers

Si le bâtiment n’a pas été détruit, il faut conserver building=yes; si il a été démoli, on peux soit tout supprimer, soit utiliser le préfixe “demolished:” ==> demolished:building=yes

Comme l’activité de bowling n’existe plus, soit supprimer le champ “leisure”, soit le modifier en utilisant le préfixe “disused:” ==>disused:leisure=bowling_alley.

Utiliser des préfixes permet d’informer les contributeurs suivants de ne pas ré-écrire l’information (comme redessiner par ex un bâtiment démoli mais encore visible sur l’imagerie aérienne)
