118457079 | over 3 years ago | Hi michael60634, NFZANMNIM did not remove any names here. Why did you revert this change? |
118515788 | over 3 years ago | When adding these street names, you removed the existing county road numbers. Next time, please retain the county road numbers in the ref tag when you replace their names, and don't abbreviate street names. |

77448392 | over 3 years ago | No doubt there's an alluvial fan here, but there's no trace of it on satellite imagery as it's been grown and built over. I think natural=shingle only belongs immediately adjacent to the Walla Walla River and the rest should probably be landuse=farmland or something more specific. The boundary for the wine-growing region could probably stay and be retagged, though I'm not sure what the proper tagging should be. |
77448392 | over 3 years ago | Hi MojaveNC, The Rocks District AVA looks like a boundary for a wine-growing region. Much of this area is covered in grass and vineyards. Why is it tagged with natural=shingle? |
115620881 | over 3 years ago | I think the center-running segment along Casino Center Blvd and 3rd St should be highway=busway, and the rest should be highway=service etc. |
115620881 | over 3 years ago | Bus-only roadways can be tagged with highway=busway if they represent an important corridor for bus passengers, or just highway=service, access=no, bus=designated for roadways inside garages and stations. Currently, highway=busway is not recognized by any renderers, but it is an approved proposal and ideally will be rendered similar to highway=bus_guideway in the future. osm.wiki/Tag:highway%3Dbusway |
115620881 | over 3 years ago | Hi Joseph, Did you mean to tag the bus-only roadways as guided busways here? I don't think there are any guided busways at all in the United States (other than the Loop, which is kind of an edge case). And RTC Southern Nevada certainly does not have any guided buses in its fleet. |
118000760 | over 3 years ago | Hi Eric, The way the slip roads are mapped at the intersection of TX 152 and FM 280 seems a little off. Shouldn't they intersect TX 152 closer to where they physically meet the road, rather than where the painted white line ends? I think the lane lines are better recorded by tagging turn:lanes=* etc. |
117881842 | over 3 years ago | Hi Chronoshift, The roofs over platforms here and in South Amboy are not mapped properly. The way it is currently mapped, the area under the roof is not considered part of the platform because it is excluded from the multipolygon relation. A platform does not stop being a platform when there's a roof above it. Please remove the multipolygon relation and leave the platform as a simple way. |
117881693 | over 3 years ago | Hi Chronoshift, This is the third time you've deleted this node. Contrary to your preconceived notions, a node is an acceptable way to map a station. Another acceptable way to map a station would be to draw an area enclosing all station facilities, including the building and the platform. If you'd like an example, check out the station at Ho-Ho-Kus. Please restore the station node or draw a new station outline. |
117881331 | over 3 years ago | Hi Chronoshift, This tagging scheme is not consistent with other train stations in NJ, or elsewhere for that matter. Station buildings are just one part of a train station. Please retag this building as a station building and not a train station. |
115548020 | over 3 years ago | Hi Nick, The segment of FM 931 south of Flat was removed from the state highway system in 2014 [1]. It was tagged with old_ref="FM 931" and a note describing this situation. So it shouldn't have a ref value of FM-931. I tried looking at TIGER Roads to find out what its new identity is, but it unfortunately hadn't been updated. The only Mapillary imagery along SH 36 is blurry, so finding a street sign was unsuccessful. But I found out on Coryell County's GIS website that parcels along this street are addressed to "County Road 931". So I went ahead and made the change here [2]. |
