Not an inconvenience at all. Thank you Yuliya!

Hello A_Prokopova,

I inspected this route to make sure the entire route was signed as primary, and I found a secondary segment [1]. The network values `US:TN:primary` and `US:TN:secondary` are a recent invention, and in migrating from the old tagging `US:TN`, some routes need to be split into primary and secondary segments. These segments should be kept in separate relations, which should themselves belong to a super-relation tagged with `network=US:TN`.

I've gone ahead and updated the relations for this route here [2].

Did you mean to add the Wikipedia and Wikidata tags for Elora, Tennessee to these route relations?

122373909 about 3 years ago

Hi Shawn,

This building is already tagged as a station building—there is no need to merge the station node with it. If you intended to map this station as an area, draw an area enclosing all station facilities, including the building, platform and any switches.

I've gone ahead and restored the station node here: osm.org/changeset/124199357

Hi cmitchell,

It looks like you've merged the station nodes with the new building polygons you mapped at Brooke and Leeland Road. Note that station buildings are just one part of stations. If you intended to map the station as an area, draw an area enclosing the grounds of the building, platform and any switches.

Hi WashuOtaku,

It looks like you've deleted the node for the Amtrak station here and merged its tags with the station building. Station buildings are just one part of a station—if you intended to map the station as an area, draw an area enclosing the grounds occupied by the building, platform and switches.

I went ahead and restored the station node here: osm.org/changeset/124197799

Reverted here: osm.org/changeset/123376822

The name is irrelevant - this is just a regular road reserved for buses, not a guided busway. See the wiki for examples of guided busways: osm.wiki/Tag:highway%3Dbus_guideway

Hi meisoof,

In this changeset, you actually changed a busway to a service road. This busway was not tagged as an abandoned highway. I've reverted this changeset here: osm.org/changeset/123338895

Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi there,

I noticed you removed the I-85 Business designation from the segment in Greensboro a few years ago. I drove this route last week and all I-85 Business signs are still present, so I restored the route designation to these segments:

osm.org/changeset/123255568

NCDOT may have received approval to remove this designation, but clearly they haven't acted upon it yet. Once the signs are truly removed, then we can remove the refs in OSM.

Thanks for the tip. Fixed here: osm.org/changeset/123100929

Route relations are used by OpenStreetMap-Americana, an alpha-stage OSM renderer, to determine which shields to display on roads. Most renderers, like OpenStreetMap-Carto (the "Standard" style on this website), just put the ref of the way in a rectangle. In this case, the unsigned status of other routes following 465 is reflected by the unsigned_ref tag on the underlying ways, but not the relations. Using unsigned_ref instead of ref in a relation will suppress shield rendering, while still signifying that it nominally belongs to that route.

Here's how 465 looks in Americana right now, with a lot of concurrent routes: https://zelonewolf.github.io/openstreetmap-americana/#12.59/39.70082/-86.08684

I'm glad you're trying to make things better, Avasquez. And I apologize for my accusatory tone earlier.

It's good to hear that Upland will stop using labels from OpenStreetMap at some point. Hopefully that will reduce the incentive for people to make edits that don't align with reality. In the meantime, I appreciate your effort in helping quality-check edits coming from Upland members.

As for the content of this particular changeset: we have a principle "one feature, one OSM element". This parking lot point was added 14 years ago, but it should have been removed when the parking lot area was drawn around it. Any additional information about this parking lot should go on the area instead of the point.

Though I'm curious why you added that the lot costs "25 upx" to park there. As far as I know, "upx" is not a currency accepted anywhere outside of a video game. Unless it's possible for a person to drive their car to this lot in real life and pay UPX to park there, I don't think that sort of information belongs on OSM.

Actually, we would appreciate it if you addressed this issue directly with Upland. Perhaps they could do something about the huge influx of new users like you who insist on adding low-quality fictional data.

aalox,

The employee timetable you've linked is from 12 years ago. The ownership of railroad lines can, and does, change often.

I would recommend you use a more authoritative, up-to-date source like the Federal Railroad Administration to determine who owns what railroad.

Hi JRWheels.

While I am not sure why you chose to respond in a private message, I do appreciate that you have told me your sources.

You listed Google Street View and the Los Angeles Conservancy website as your sources for this change. Both look like they're copyrighted. Please read through the following page and make sure you are not using data from copyrighted sources.

Please do not copy from other maps.

Why have you been lying about your motives in mapping? Why is it so important to you for things you like to show up in Upland that you poison our free community map with copyrighted data?

120565294 about 3 years ago

Hi JRWheels and welcome to OpenStreetMap.

I don't understand how you found the name of this building. In this changeset it looks like you used Bing aerial imagery. There is no indication of the name of the building on its roof, so where did the name come from?

120604136 about 3 years ago

Hello again theMETAVERSr.

In the Upland Discord server, you've mentioned that "i honestly don't want this fight in OSM but will continue it if the tags we're spending time adding will be blocked on the upland side". This indicates that your ulterior motive in mapping is to get things to show up in Upland, and you were lying about the map your sister uses, who you can't seem to decide is hard of hearing or visually impaired. Why were you lying about this?

Elsewhere, you mention that your "team of 8 mappers have strict instructions to be as through as possible". Who is this team? Please read the Organized Editing Guidelines and ensure that you and your team are following them:
