The footpath at the end of Gallows Lane appears to have been blocked by landowners, effectively cutting off the circular route.

The bridleway here should follow the line of the trees rather than through a private garden. In fact it dips behind the tree line (on the side of Horse Pond) as it passes The Rectory. Both ends have bridleway signs but they are a little overgrown.
