Unfortunately we can not use Swisstopo, also not for correcting the spelling. Valid sources can be documents or news paper articles. Best would be a sign on the ground. But the maps and databases are definitely off limits. Sorry. I hope you will find some other source.

Man darf durchaus das tagging schema erweitern, ohne zuerst eine Grosse Diskussion anzufangen. Klar auf lange Sicht braucht es eine Dokumentation. Aber solange es nur ein paar QA tools sind die unzufrieden sind.

Du hast vergessen, den Kreisel als junction=roundabout zu tagen. Es scheint als ob du den Kreisel mehrmals in die Relationen eingefügt hast. Ich habe das mal korrigiert.

Sieht gut aus. Ich denke die vielen Beschränkungen mit dem kleinen Stummel von service weg ist unnötig, da der ja eh mit access=no getaggt ist, da ist alles verboten.

So geht das nicht. Bitte lass doch die bus_stop nodes neben der Strasse stehen. Wenn du einen stop_position node mappen willst mach einen neuen.

Nehmen wir als Beispiel die Mc Clean Toilette. Die hast du doch am genau gleichen Ort belassen wie die Fläche. Somit entsprach die Fläche doch einigermassen der Realität?

Thank you for contributing to OSM. I live near by and passed by this Street and building this morning. I do not (yet?) see any indication of Werkstattgasse or an office of Specialized. Maybe you have more information tha is visible on the ground?
For the tagging: now you named just the building Specialized. But probably you meant that there will be an office or a shop in the future, so you should tag it as an office or a shop.

Hallo asdf2. Bevorzugt darum, weil man so sieht wo sich der Eingang befindet. Und wegen Hausnummer: die ist schon meistens beim Eingang angebracht. Aber beide Arten sind zulässig, also nur zu mappe die Hausnummern auf die Hausfläche, wenn du sie neu einträgst. Einfach nur das umändern macht keinen Sinn finde ich. Ich habe auch auf der talk-ch Mailingliste Rücksprache gehalten mit den Berner mappern und wir sind zum Schluss gelangt, dass wir das rückgängig machen wollen.

Es ist richtig (und bevorzugt) wenn die Hausnummern beim Eingang, also auf dem Gebäudeumriss,platziert wird. Du verbesserst damit nichts, sondern machst es schlechter. Bitte höre auf damit.

Ah ZVB. Ich war dazumals auch dabei bei Bernmobil. Hier z.B. sind die Haltestellen in Bern auch neben der Strasse: osm.org/node/560927176

Da hast du etwas falsch verstanden. Der tag bus_stop gehört nicht auf die stop_position, sondern auf die Platform. Platform hast du ja gar nicht gemappt. Die relation fehlt auch. Bitte mache nicht bestehende Daten kaput.
